Someone I worked with had her thyroid removed due to cancer. She did not go up in weight, but made sure she ate well and went to zumba or cardio 3 days a week (difficult with her travel schedule). It's all about relearning good habits and making good choices.

Another thing you can try is chicken baby food (stage 2). If you can't get her to eat it on her own (and most will) it is easily syringeable for force feeding if necessary. I didn't know that either... will have to try and find the baking Stevia. And thanks for the recipe site. Sold out of the "sugar but not calorie" free cookies at a fundraiser and always need new recipes for things like that :)

I have baked with "Stevia in the Raw" and it comes out OK, but not fab. Make sure you flatten the cookies before baking. Also, I added some peanut butter to an oatmeal cookie recipe and it added some needed umph. I haven't tried adding applesauce to the mix, but I have heard that that helps too. :)

You can do this. I started out at the same point as you in August. I am now down 27 pounds and slowly working the rest off. Just dedicate yourself to logging daily and you will be on your way.

Hi! I'm from the land of beer and cheese as well! I'm slowly making progress losing weight and ww never worked for me.

Saw an backside pic of myself (can usually ignore most pics, but this one made me look ginormous). So glad I started changing my habits little by little and really glad I got the personal trainer. Next step is a gym membership. 100 lb goal... here I come.

I am at 1200 calories a day... Don't always eat healthy, but try to stay in range and take vitamins.
