It could be water weight. Also remember your body can fluctuate from day to day. Personally I can go up 2lbs in a day then have lost 3 the next. Just keep an eye on it, maybe add more water to your diet, check your salt intake and bear in mind that if you're working out it may be muscle mass. Do you take measurements?…

I can get on board with that. I worked with wolves :)

Oh good. I thought maybe I was on an accidental acid trip and just imagined the whole thing.

Oh no...it respawned. I got so confused in the last one. There was an OP on a horse and something about eating bread but not eating bread then I skipped a few pages and suddenly there was a girl who weighed 128lbs but didn't weigh 128lbs who has health issues and a gymnastics injury...then Dr Oz had a kid who was on Sesame…

Actually was no. 2 for me. My cats are Kiki and Miku. Uhm...no. 2? You don't love carrots?

This. I was eating 1 meal a day and it was usually less than 1000 calories and I piled on the lbs because my body went into starvation mode and my metabolism pretty much went into a coma. I only started losing when I was eating the same amount of calories over the space of 5 meals. For a bunch of people on a diet site…

Can anyone actually tell me what Quinoa is? I see it in a lot of recipes but we don't have it out here in Greece, Thanks.

no. 2? 1. I had never had a fish stick until I was 29 2. My cats' names are Sherlock, Mycroft and Moriarty 3. I work in a zoo and was once chased by a hippo and had to jump over a wall where I landed in a cactus.

Also bear in mind the whole 'muscle weighs more than fat' thing people keep telling me about. The same weight in muscle takes up less space in your body and while the difference won't show on the scales, it'll show on your body, which it seems to be doing. You say your clothes are looser and you can see more muscle tone so…

Dogs can be amazingly resilient because of their scavenger ancestory. Mine once ate an entire pack of Ibuprofen and a box of Amoxicillin in the same sitting and despite throwing up and having her stomach pumped as a precaution, went on to eat part of my coffee table, numerous socks, the Twilight saga (that I didn't mind so…

I lost 60lbs in just over 2 years mainly because I'm a bit rubbish at following my nutrition plan and I hit a lot of plateaus, but I've had friends do in 6 months. Granted they've started putting it back on now, whereas I haven't but that's probably more to do with the holidays than anything else. 2 to 3lbs a week is a…

Even when crowning it's still never ok to ask if a woman is pregnant lol. I ALWAYS used to hate it when people told me I'd be so much more attractive if I was slimmer. It made me think being overweight was unsightly for years. Now I just reply that they'd be more attractive if they kept their opinions to themselves. Also…

Drinking lots of water, getting regular 8 hours sleep, eating at set times (3 meals and 2 snacks a day) to keep it in constant motion, and doing exercise is what was suggested to me by a dietician.

If you're seriously struggling with eating (I know the feeling - sometimes you're just not hungry) my dietician told me to drink fruitjuice or milk. It gives you the extra calories you need without having to eat when you're not hungry.

As awful as we all seem to think stretch marks are...I have so many skinny friends who have never been overweight who have stretch marks. It's a natural part of life. They do tend to fade to silvery lines but if I recall rightly you can help them along while they're still red by moisturising loads. For the people asking…

This for me too....Exactly this. I think the main problem people face is the idea that once they lose the weight that's it...you can eat normally again which is where the yo-yoing comes in. It took me years of 'dieting' to figure that one out (I'm not the brightest crayon in the box) The trick is to not expect…
