Think about it for a second. You have to eat 3500 less calories than you burn to lose a pound. I am eating at 2000 calories less per day than my TDEE, and still eating around 3000 to 3500 calories per day. That SHOULD result in a more than 1/2 pound per day loss.

Lost 62 pounds in 3 months drinking an average of 2-3 artificially sweetened beverages per day. Sounds like myth to me. Plus, as an added benefit, my remains will stay essentially intact for many decades due to all the preservatives. Win-Win! ;-)

I agree wholeheartedly with this post. And I totally agree this is a serious matter. However, I do find a small bit of irony in the advice to "turn her in" coming from someone whose MFP name is Snitch1.
