We could do from now until fall, which would be 9 weeks, and then another from fall until winter, which would be 13 weeks.
-
Sure. (Though my Thanksgiving is in October, haha)
-
Excellent. Any input on how long the competition should be? Oct? Nov? When it officially turns into winter? (conveniently on a Friday...) Or is that too long? That's 22 weeks, so there's the potential for people to lose 22-44lbs, at best (according to healthy weight loss guidelines). I certainly have more than that to…

I should also add that I'd like to make a motion to move the weigh in to Friday. Weighing in after the weekend (and cheat day) is killing me!
-
And then there were 20! (ish)
-
Guess that's a no!
-
Thanks :) Everyone's had great losses here!
-
Sorry guys, I've been a bit busy with the long weekend (it was Canada day over the weekend). Sending you adds/messages now :)
-
It is... but defintiely be sure to get a purple show shirt so you can have a little fun too. ;)
-
I believe she said she reversed the numbers in last week's weigh in. So last week she lost a few lbs and didn't gain like her original weigh in.

A purple hunt coat and grey breeches would stick out like a sore thumb. You are, of course, welcome to wear them as you wouldn't be breaking any rules, but I'll guarantee you get some looks. I'm not personally all that concerned about what others think of me, however I do appreciate and respect the more conservative and…

Thanks guys! I love hearing about others' losses to keep me motivated; the Success Stories is by far my most frequently viewed forum. Keep the stats coming. :) I don't necessarily plan to be at my goal by my birthday as that would be about 10lbs a month, but I do hope to do the best I possibly can.
-
Haha, fairly close.
-
Well, a pint would be 12 drinks as singles, 6 as doubles. The big factor isn't necessarily alcohol itself, it's what kind of alcohol and what you're mixing with. If you're having a pint of dark rum and coke every weekend... then yes, cutting that out will definitely help. But if you're having vodka and a diet soda, I don't…

I ammmm... but you already know that. ;) I'm hoping that there will be some others who don't exclusively go to gyms, too. I'm not a gym go-er at present but it's always nice to find people to walk/run/bootcamp/etc with.

Down to one page. *sigh*
-
Just getting home from work... This morning the scale stayed the same, AGAIN.
-
I almost ALWAYS go over my protein limit on here, even when I'm not eating high protein things (just normal veggies/lean meats). I find the initial settings for MFP are set low. A well-known poster on here suggests changing the fat and protein percentages to 30% each, but that's also with upping the cals as well. Food for…

I'm still plateau'd! Hoping that starting the 17 Day Diet will jump start a new loss.
-
I think he posted on the 3rd page... and I think it's worth showing off! That kind of body takes some damn hard work.
-
Sure it does!! Happy Apple Blossom :)
-
Ah, so there are some of us! Glad to see some fellow Maritimers.
-
How did everyone do with achieving their May goals?
-
I was wondering where you were! Glad to see you're still with us.
-
Well, I just confirmed another June goal... I'm taking my 4yo WB mare to her first ever show! That means I really need to focus this month to drop some pounds and ride my mare. She's super green but has a great mind... fingers crossed!
-
Anyone?
-
I've given a few people a grace week, so at this point you're "in the red" on the spreadsheet, but not yet deleted. If you still want to participate, please try to weigh in today... if you'd rather opt out, I'm sure everyone will appreciate your support. :)
-
I stayed the same, forgot to post yesterday.
-
You are correct.
