  • I have made Mashed Cauliflower before, but I used salt, pepper, butter, and cheese. The kids love it and prefer it to mashed potatoes. I haven't made any in a while but may have to soon.
  • Looking good!! Congrats!! Made note of your band to give to my husband he is into your kind of music and always looking for new bands to listen to.
  • I use the Polar FT4, it comes with the watch and chest strap. As for tracking it online, I just in-put it on MFP, that way it is all in one place. I found mine on Amazon for $66.00 but they generally run about $89.00.
  • Congrats on reaching your goal!! You look great and your whole family has benefited from your good choices. It is stories like yours and others that have posted that keep the rest of us motivated. Thanks for sharing!!!
  • You look AMAZING!!!
  • Yes...the first thing I do in the morning is sign on to MFP. First thing I do when I get to work is sign on to MFP. First thing I do when I get home is sign on to MFP. I love this site!! I'm addicted!!
  • I always go by my HRM, and I too have the Polar FT4. I go by it because my treadmill at home when it is turned on it is counting calories burned even if I'm not walking on it, so we know that can't be right. If I don't get my HR up the HRM give me less calories burned and than when I really push myself and my heart is…

Would share recipe but I'm at work and don't know all the ingredients. Thanks for sharing your recipes, plan on trying them in the near…
  • I weigh in the morning after going to the bathroom, before eating or drinking anything. I usually weigh on Wednesday morning just to gauge my progress for the week and do my recorded weigh in on Sunday mornings.
  • I keep chicken strips, and green giant steamers on hand. I bake the chicken strip in the toaster oven and microwave the veggies and it all comes out about the same time.
  • OMG...my favorite all time cookie made LOW CAL!!! Thanks for this recipe, I will be trying it this weekend!!!
  • It is the small NSV that really bring it home for us. Congrats on your and you should be proud of yourself!!! This morning when I was getting dressed for work, I realized the belt my sister gave me at Christmas that was almost too small, now is being buckled in the last whole. Am I proud of me? You bet ya I am. These small…

  • This made be laugh out loud!!! You don't work at a nursing home by chance? My sister works as a speech therapist at a nursing home and a resident told her she was going to have to start wearing maternity clothes ( she is about 6mos preg.). She replied, I am wearing maternity clothes. Resident said, Not the right ones.
  • I made Hungry Girl Pizza-bellas yesterday and they were very good. Another good one by Hungry Girl is the Pizza-fied chicken, both of these are very easy. When I googled the Hungry Girl Pizza-fied chicken it also brought up the Pizza-bellas recipe. It also gives you the nutrition facts.
  • Wow!!! Amazing, keep up the good work, and good luck on your marathon in May!
  • WOW!! You look great!! Thanks for sharing!!
  • Cooking is not mine either but I am finding that I kinda like it!! And I too can use all the help I can get!! : )
  • Congrats!!! About six months ago my husband and I went through our entire house throwing things out we had shoved in closets and haven't used in years. And with those things were my "skinnier" clothes. I may have one pair of jeans from the day but my daughter is wearing those and something tells me she is not going to give…
  • I am on level 2 right now. My plan was to do it 30 days straight but my sick children and my broke down body had other plans. LOL!!! I have taken a few days off but hope to complete the last 15 days w/o any breaks. I say listen to your body, but I will say this if you take a break it feels like starting all over at day 1.…

  • Not angry, just confused about what is wanted here?
  • So, what do you want from your friends? No, GREAT JOB, when your diary looks like crappy but you managed to stay under or at goal. And NO, pointing out the BAD things you should be doing in moderation, that caused you to be over goal. If your MFP friends never commented, what then? Would there be a post to whine about…
  • I agree!! It is much harder to stay at goal or under goal when having a bad day. So if I am on the road and have to eat crappy food, rather than the healthy things I have at home...GREAT JOB...is a welcome comment. I try not to judge a person by what they are eating, rather I look at their diaries to get new ideas for…
  • Sending you a request!
  • Ok...I'm about to really tell my age, LEIF GARRETT. A few years back he actually performed at a little bar close to home and my husband got me tickets. I got to meet him and have my picture made with him. I was sitting in his lap, and I was as giddy as a school girl.
  • This made me remember when I was probably about 16, my Mom and I went through KFC and my Mom ordered Kentucky McNuggets. I wanted to crawl under the seat. LOL!!
  • That's funny my little sister used to say HIJK "CAMEL" and a P. We still like to say it that way, it's just fun! And when my oldest daughter was about 2 yrs old we had Salisbury Steak for dinner one night and she ask if she could have more Chocolate Snake! We still call it that to this day and she is 12 now.
  • I have three vertebra fused in my lower back and I have been doing the 30 Day Shred. I follow the modified movements to prevent to much strain. I am 13 days in and haven't had any problems. There is only one exercise I have real difficulty with due to the fusion and it is the plank twist. I just do them the best that I can…
  • I fit this group, I'm 40 and it is hard. You can add me and anyone else that needs a friend send me a request.
  • I agree and couldn't have said it better. She didn't tell any us to stop eating corn or grains, she simply posted an article as food for thought. I personally would like to know how she does in her trial of no grain.
  • You look AWESOME!!! I may have to check out this Turbo Fire! Thanks for sharing.
