  • Don't be afraid to slow your pace. As he states in the videos, do what YOU can do, not what they do. Don't try to go at their pace, at least not at first. Many can't get through it the first time without breaks. If they could, it would not be the challenge many need it to be.
  • Both are good programs and I have found people will favor the one they tried first and I am no exception. I started with Insanity and then started P90x and just couldn't commit because the cardio workouts just didn't compare. I like the strength training of P90x but prefer the cardio of Insanity.   • Wear bright fluorescent clothing. Like what you see road workers wearing. Do not ride before sunrise or after sunset, even with lights on your bike. Use some type of mirror system, either those that attach to the bike or the helmet.
  • I would drop it down to 1500 calories and make sure you are logging EVERYTHING.

  • Insanity is all that. If you are out of shape, or have bad knees/joints then modify those moves that give you problems and don't try to move at Shaun's pace.
