  • And don't forget any excuse is a good excuse.
  • Blaming others for your failings is another one.
  • Lazy No self esteem Fast food culture Congeniality Too much hard work Cheating and expecting results Bro/ho science Sounds more like it.
  • So if you don't need cardio to increase your cardiovascular performance (thought the name would be a give away) what about O2 saturation and increasing VO2 max capicity? Pretty sure they are all interrelated. Chalk this one up along with muscle weighing more than fat bro/ho science.
  • A few weeks and you're complaining? Most of us have lost over a stone in weight in 14 days. A few months then it would be cause for concern but weeks? At least give it a try.
  • And never miss an opportunity to prove how righteous you are.
  • May explain why you have 0lbs lost. Try exercising control and see how easy that is to master.
  • In this day and age people don't think about searching on a web site? Really? Well the Internet is new, not many people can access it or know how to use it. I've heard of something called Google, what does that do? Not using search is a lack of common sense of laziness. Why think for yourself and show initiative?
  • How are you breathing? This is common problem when starting squatting. Exhale on the effort, when you stand upright. Pause, then inhale during the squat position going down, standing upright, pause again then exhale on the effort standing upright. You are putting your body through an incredible amount of exertion and…
  • People find it inconsiderate when others are too lazy to use the page buttons at the bottom and look past the first page. Instead of research and finding the answer, 90% of which are on here just past page 1, they want someone else to do the work. Laziness is perhaps the reason why they are intolerant.
  • A pound, a unit of currency in England and a measurement of weight. Made an ironic comparison. What is that you are wearing on your head? I'm being ironic again.
  • Weight machines were originally conceived for rehabilitation, for people recovering from accidents and physiotherapy benefits. Free weights encourage natural movement if your technique is correct as the range of motion Isn't limited. Where possible, choose free weights.
  • If you lost muscle then you'd have lost weight.
  • What? This is as ridiculous as muscle weighing more than fat. Your bodies fat stores don't turn into muscle, it fuels your body activity. Muscle is added when you overload the fibres and cause tears (lifting heavy weights) which repair stronger, adapting to the load applied.
  • Anyone will lose weight initially on a 500kcal a day diet. Just wait for the rebound. Diet pills do not work, why are there do many people overweight if they do? Save your money and buy healthy food, that works wonders.
  • Are they so called diet/weight loss pills? They do nothing besides lose pounds from your finances.
  • Go to the motivation and support section, I'd say you're in trouble! How many binge or eat junk food? Lack of self control and discipline from a fast food nation.
  • Considering the content of most posts on here, it won't be changing any time soon either.
  • Because nothing good comes easy and keeping an eye on macronutrients and exercising is part of a healthy lifestyle. Strange how you don't care about calories or weight the launch a tirade about not eating enough protein. You'll burn fats and carbohydrates before going catabolic and start using muscle as fuel. You are…
  • Really? So the carbohydrates don't assist protein transport to the muscles then?
  • If you can put the flamethrowers down for a second and realise that no one has mentioned carbohydrates for post work-out with the protein. Don't you think assisting the absorbtion is a necessity?
  • Choose what is more important, beer or looking good and feeling better. It isn't simple but it is easy. If you're not prepared to stop drinking then stop complaining that you aren't losing weight. You can't have both.
  • Creatine isn't mandatory either for the limited gains. Out of the two, money on whey is the better option if you are not getting enough protein through your daily diet,

  • Isn't a change in diet the reason for being here, amongst other things? If you have to ask can you eat junk food then you deserve every success in your weight loss.
  • Curious why people think crunches or planks will get you a flat stomach when you have to get body fat into single percent first.

  • If you are consuming carbohydrates then once this is converted to glycogen and stored in the muscle you can also retain up to three grams of water per carbohydrate until used. Stick with the inch loss, there is a point when fat burning will take over once your muscles are replete.
  • Why do they have specific meal replacements if that is the true? A meal replacement has to contain a minimum amount of vitamins and minerals to justify replacement. Whey protein does not; it can and does include some of these but stick to whey protein after workouts and MPR for meal replacement.
  • But adding a banana to a whey protein shake won't make you skinny either. Why are you adding carbohydrates to protein if the goal is to avoid bulking?
  • A good indication is your breathing, you should be breathing heavy but not struggling to breathing, then you're getting a good workout. Or buy a heart rate monitor watch!
  • Does sunbathing make you lose weight? Sweat is the bodies method of keeping you cool, the myth of the more you sweat the more you lose however, prevails for some reason. Drink after a sauna and you'll rehydrate, losing nothing.
