It takes me a month to lose 3 lbs. You're doing just fine.

I agree. My doctor and dietician both suggested that I go with a low carb diet, basically the diet guideline that the American Diabetic Association follows. I was on Metformin for about 5 months, but once I switched to gluten free/low carb (although I do cheat sometimes, I'm def not perfect on that), I no longer needed the…

135 is TOTALLY realistic for a woman your height. I'm 5'3" and I'm shooting for somewhere between 125-135 (I'm focusing more on body fat % so we'll see how much I weigh when I get to my goal of 20%). Focus on the body fat % and your weight will fall in line accordingly

Omg, Chris Powell can come move into my house and train me ANY TIME HE WANTS TO.

SERIOUSLY. SVU is on pretty much every day on some channel and I will watch every single episode no matter how many times I've seen it!! So obsessed. And Family Guy. Can NOT get enough Family Guy.

I feel ya girl!! Try running outside when it's 110 degrees---and that's not even the heat index! There are news stories every summer about somebody dying of a heat stroke here (I'm in Central TX), not worth the risk to me.
-
I like running outside more than inside, but when it's over 90 degrees by 8am---well, the treadmill will have to suffice. Also, the gym has childcare whereas the running trail, well, it does not....and I doubt my 5 year old can hang on a 6 mile run outside with me. Also, lots of people DON'T LIKE RUNNING. Some people…

Invest in better quality jeans. I have NEVER had a thigh gap, not even at a size 0 and 110 lbs, just not the way my body is built---and I've never had that problem with jeans. Ever. I generally wear Seven for All Mankind, Citizens, and I used to wear True Religions (before I got fat---they are not cut for thicker ladies…

I find that MFP's macro percentages are kinda off, for me anyway. I reset mine to 40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fats and that works WAY better for me.

Way to spread some total bullsh!t that I'm sure some idiot here will believe.

THANK YOU. My father lost his battle with AIDS 2 years ago. This topic is very near and dear to my heart. Learn the facts, and spread ACCURATE information. This disease doesn't discriminate on who it infects.

Well that just took this thread to a whole different level.

Story of my life.

We are all being facetious. These are all things people have posted here on MFP as being "gross."
-
I doubt there's ever been a "cancer scars are gross" thread on MFP.
-
crap I forgot that part! I even wear weight lifting gloves!
-
Haha ditto! I only wear them with short skirts or jeans!

My boobs are bigger than a C, I have stretch marks, my thighs TOTALLY touch, I wear makeup to the gym (I go straight from work), I socialize at the gym, I wear cute matchy matchy work out clothes, I sweat buckets all over the gym equipment and don't stop every 5 seconds to wipe it up (I wait til I'm done), and sometimes I…

Thank you! Victoria's Secret, girl!

AND YOU TOO CAN HAVE A RAIL THIN STOMACH LIKE THIS IF YOU KEEP AT IT! Hahahaha "rail thin" is a phrase that has NEVER been used to describe me. Ever. *High five* back at ya!
-
That's totally what I'm saying with my profile pic. Obviously.

Poor guy...he could use some MFP in his life...

Cool story, bro.

If it's a reduction for medical purposes and your doctor recommends it, some insurances will cover it. Or if one requires reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy, but that depends on your insurance because many policies will say it's cosmetic since you don't need breasts to live.

I'll wear it in my office since it's freezing in here, don't care that I work in a professional office with all middle aged adults. Don't care at all. Rainbow Dash is mine!

Hahahaha hipsters....do you live in Austin too??? That's like 80% of our population.
