I agree with this. I am a moderate Christian (I really can't identify with either political party), and I don't think I could be in a relationship with an Atheist, for similar reasons (well, not so much moral or ethical reasons, anybody of any faith/non faith can be moral or totally immoral) and I have had my child…

In my opinion, one of the major problems with having drastically different religious and political views comes into play if you decide to have children down the line. Which parent has it right, and which parent doesn't (from the child's point of view) know what I mean?

HOOK EM HORNS BABY!!! This pic from a Texas vs OU game a few years back makes me laugh EVERY SINGLE TIME. Poor lil OU fan...

I think that as long as your religious ideology, political affiliations, and views on marriage and children (whether or not to have them, and whether marriage is important to you or not) are on the same page, other differences keep things interesting. It's great that my bf and I like the same sports teams, have a similar…

When I was 14 I had this friend who was totally bad news, but I liked her anyway. Her mom worked nights, so when I would spend the night we could sneak out and get back home before she got home from work. Well, one night my friend said "Hey we're gonna go to this guy's house, I have to talk to his friend." I was so naive.…

And if anyone wants to cry a little bit more, my friend Anne who is a local radio host posted this story on her show page this morning. http://www.kvet.com/pages/mosser&hudson.html?article=10432229 You know, sometimes, when I'm complaining about some life tribulation, I just stop and say "SHUT THE F@#K UP MEREDITH." I've…

Well, considering my relationship ended in QUITE a different fashion from the OP's, it took me all of 5 minutes to get over my ex (my son's dad). That relationship lasted for almost 3 years, which was about 2 years and 11 months too long, in my opinion, but on the positive side I got quite possibly the most awesome little…

I eat about 6 times a day, I just schedule it out....but I'm confused about this whole breakfast being a sugary meal thing. Why does it have to be sweet? I eat eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast half of the time, which is definitely not sweet... You don't HAVE to eat 6 times a day. Plenty of people don't, and their…

Aquaphor is AMAZING. My artist recommended it, and it worked great. I keep it around to use on burns as well (I'm really good at burning myself on anything that could possibly burn me).

Adults in onesies are always awesome. I kind of want one for myself.

I'm toying between a black cat (slutty, obviously) and MAYBE Princess Jasmine, but I don't know if I have the nerve to wear this costume given that my stomach pretty stretch marked up:
-
Can it be a slutty mouse? I'm only accepting slutty Halloween costume ideas.
-
Steve, anything requiring you to be shirtless. Be Thor. That would be good.
-
Nothing. I am literally going to wear as little clothing as I can get away with in whatever situation I'm in.

That too...I try SO HARD and just can not get it going!

I can't play sports. I really have such little hand-eye coordination it's sad. I want to play softball with my boyfriend's recreational team SO BADLY, but it's just embarrassing to watch me even try. I have tried to play sports many times, ever since I was a kid, and I was so bad that I couldn't even hack it on the B team…

So did my mom. She was 100% grey by the time she was 30, she colored her hair up until I was in high school (she was about 45 or so) and then she just got tired of the upkeep. Even though she's totally grey now, she still looks much younger than she is, because she's always taken really good care of her body and skin.

People often think I'm younger than I am, depending on what I'm wearing. I look much younger when I'm in gym clothes and no makeup---in fact I've been asked if my son was my little brother before! A couple years ago my boyfriend and I were on vacation and a bus driver asked us for our high school IDs...we were 25 and 26.…

I will say that just flat out not having a job period would be a deal breaker. If a guy has some crappy job while he looks for a good one, I'm cool with that. In fact, when my bf and I started dating he had kind of a sh!tty job (installing cable), which he hated, but he only worked there at the time because it was all that…

Yeah, actually statistically these days more and more young adults are living with parents to pay of student loans, etc. Honestly, I think if a guy has debt like that, or is saving for a down payment on a home, it's just financially smart. Why waste money on rent when you can save it, get out of debt, and buy your own…

I definitely do. I practically plan my entire week in advance, since I go grocery shopping on Sundays. It's really helpful, plus it makes it so much easier in the evenings to just pack my lunch/snacks, and grab em in the morning before I head out for work. Takes a lot of the time/effort out of it during the week when I'm…

Ditto. I've gotten my son to try (and actually enjoy) all kinds of things he wouldn't have before simply because he was proud that he helped make it.

In our house, I cook a healthy dinner for everyone. I don't make things that I know my child absolutely does not like, but I do encourage him to try new things. If there is something new we are having for dinner and he truly doesn't like it (after tasting a few bites), I usually have some kind of back up plan (I keep those…

I'm 5'3" Starting: 170lbs, size 14 pants, 36% body fat Current: 139 lbs, size 8 pants, 26% body fat Goal: somewhere around 125ish and a size 4 or 6, 20% body fat---we'll see when I get there, kinda just playing it by ear from here on out!

TAKEN 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even communicate just how excited I am about Taken 2. When I saw the preview for the first time I literally clapped and cheered in my living room. Liam Neeson is a G.

Depends on what I'm doing, where I'm doing it, etc. Running, usually some compression tights or those Nike running shorts with the built in underwear, a sports bra, and some kind of moisture wicking tank top. Lifting weights, fitted t-shirt or tank, and shorts. Yoga, either tight yoga pants or yoga shorts, and sports bra…

As a woman who has primary custody of her child, this is going to sound weird, but no (if I didn't have a child). I admire and respect a man who cares for his children, but if I were a single gal with no children of my own, I don't think I could do it. This is also going to sound weird, but I don't really like other…

Born and raised Texas girl here, but somehow I've gotten really fortunate in the allergies department. I'm pretty much the only person I know who has, but I sure count my lucky stars! My poor boyfriend is miserable right now

Why hate on the type of exercise someone likes to do? You're working out in yoga class, not sitting around like you are in an ice tub. Try a fast paced vinyasa class, it's not just stretching and meditation. If somebody finds a type of exercise that they enjoy and that works for them, what does it matter to you?

Bikram and Hot Yoga are not the same thing. Bikram is a specific Hatha practice that incorporates heat and humidity into the room, and hot yoga can be a variety of different styles (hatha or vinyasa, or both) and does not involve humidity, and doesn't need to be at an official Bikram studio.
