Well it's full of saturated fat, which isn't great but not a 'must avoid' like trans fat, just moderation really. Although there was that recent study involving processed red meat in general being a no no...no way I'm giving up my saturday morning macon sandwich though, tooooo tasty!

I do 6 days a week: Week 1: 6w6p and Killer buns each twice a week + Extreme shed on the weekend Week 2: No more trouble zones and banish fat twice each + Extreme Shed on the weekend Week 3: 30DS and Ripped in 30 3 times each Every two rotations I go up a level on each! I agree that 6 pack is hard, level 2 of that is…

Both sides can be annoying. 'I don't eat any food with chemicals in it because chemicals give you cancer and gluten and dairy intolerance and my ancestors didn't eat them' *tucks into sweet potato that didn't leave South America until a few hundred years ago* Then the opposite 'Lol isn't it funny that you only eat…

I first started with the 10 minute solution 'Dance Your Body Thin', the routines are short, not too challenging and have a good mix of cardio and more 'toning' style exercises.

At 119 I burned about 180-205 depending on whether it was level 1, 2 or 3. MFP was usually a little bit over but not too much so I sometimes logged it as circuit for convenience.

No idea why it happens, but I tend to find my appetite suppressed for a few hours at least after my workout. Late that evening though, RAVENOUS!

Fairly standard dinner for me is chicken but with a few veggies to feel virtuous!

I didn't mean you were being rude, some of the replies were, like all of the very helpful 'OH NOESSS!' and someone telling you to 'stfu'. Basic manners really seem to be lacking on this site. I completely agree that it's empty calories, even if I don't agree there is any evidence it's harmful in moderation!
-
People are so bloody rude on here! Wow. Personally I love diet soft drinks, although I'm trying to cut down for my teeth. Had some lectures about aspartame but found no good evidence of their negative effects. For me though, non diet soft drinks are just a waste of my calories. One coke is the equivalent of breakfast. I'd…

Currently combining yoga, Jillian Michaels and a ton of walking. The yoga and jillian are definitely helping me get stronger but the weights I use are nowhere near enough to build muscle, I don't think (5lbs). My waist is 26 inches, which I am perfectly happy with! It's not so much a problem of thick waist, more that it's…

This is a blog, not a journal, but it seems to summarise pretty well what I always thought to be correct about starvation mode: http://labcoatsunbuttoned.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/the-food-series-1-these-starvation.html

Yoga meltdown for me, first time I tried it - not exactly the yoga I'm used to!
-
Today I ate boiled eggs and porridge, and even though I walked into work (1 hour, which I don't usually do) I didn't need my usual mid morning snack! I was very pleased!

That Britney article I googled is terrible - the two pictures being compared, I'm pretty sure she's actually older in the 'thin' waist one...oh and it's in a magazine so will be photoshopped, as opposed to a stage photo. Britney is just a naturally thick figured girl!

What is the overload principle?

My shoulders pop whenever I work them, I always assumed it was air pockets, same as cracking your knuckles?
-
Do you live somewhere warm? Running in warm rain is delicious! I vote squash, it can get pretty hardcore and if you can find a friend to play with it's fun too.
-
I used to! Mixed netball especially is a killer, especially when you're playing with people that were just a little too short to make the men's basketball team :( If you want activity always go for centre!
-
6 week 6 pack level 1 is one of my least favourites, I just can't get on with it! Might be the side planks...Tried level 2 the other day for the first time...wow. It is SUCH HARD WORK!!
-
I did NMTZ yesterday! Love that one! It's hard and long but feels so good to reach the end.
-
^^Exactly! Also, I've seen plenty of women with amazing physiques, definitely what I would call 'toned', who do not lift any weights whatsoever, just keep active.
-
200 cals for a pizza sounds LOW! What is this brand :) Maybe you don't burn as much as you think you do during the day?
-
I do think it's a woman's term, but it's a bit more subtle in terms of the look people want to achieve. I think when people say 'toned' they mean they don't want overly visible muscles but want to look firm.
-
Who cares what people call it? You all know what they mean... And just because someone doesn't want to lift weights does NOT make them 'lazy' or 'uninformed'.
-
Once I get past them I like this one, it's good that it has a bit of variety compared to her other videos, with the brazilian martial arts and sun salutations!
-
Still not managed the whole hour on this! Lateral jump burpees...*shudder*

Awesome post! Some of this nonsense can be so irritating to read.
