I'm currently stuck around 189 and after reading your story of perseverance, that may be the kick in the tail to keep moving to our mutual goal. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us! You are amazing and you WILL get there!

I'm so glad I took some time to read your whole post. The beginning made my heart hurt and want to run home and hug my sons. You always had sass girl and now you've got a package to match. Outstanding work! Thank you for sharing it and all of your photos with us.

I am so glad I posted this today. Y'all have been wonderful. I feel like I got some great links, some great advice and I was able purge a little bit of hurt. I appreciate being able to pout in a public forum. I truly appreciate my husband's honesty. He would let me know if I was wearing something that was not the most…

Sadly, I can relate. It's a whole lot of no fun. I can rally behind the chiropractor: It's the only thing that helped me - REALLY helped me. That and maintaining movement: sitting and laying down seem to cause the most pain. Keep moving and stretching as your back allows and DON'T push it. It's a painfully slow process (no…

I'm learning... How old were you the first time you had sex?

That is fantastic!! Good on ya! Keep it up and you'll be laughing and crying and turning cartwheels for your next milestone! Rock on girl!!

I create a recipe nearly every day. It gets to be a pain, but totally worth it. It really wraps your head around serving sizes and just how many calories are in each ingredient.

Every time.

Looking great! You look so happy!!!

Damn. I don't have video, but I stepped in a hole in the sidewalk covered by leaves about an hour ago and tumbled right on my *kitten*. (I meant to do that. not really...)

I LOVE Old Navy's workout pants!!! I always wait for a sale. But there's a store very near to my office and the gym, so when I inconveniently forget my pants, I have been known to buy impulsively. No regrets.

I've been suffering from back pain that keeps me from my workouts sometimes. Like those above have mentioned, that's when I tighten up the reins on the food diary. Pain meds keep me from drinking my calories. My issue is with the "poor me syndrome" and seeking comfort food. You, my love, have SO much to look forward to!…

ohmigosh I LOVE this NSV!!! I can relate and I'm so happy for you!

LOVE IT!!! I hope the wake up call is heard by many more because of you!

I didn't realize that was you Liz until I saw the last photo - I didn't look at your user name. :) What a crazy trip girl. But way to remain dedicated to yourself and your family. I'm proud of you!!! In so many ways I feel like we're having parallel experiences. Hang in there mama!!!

I sure hope so, I've eaten a *kitten*-ton of them today...

There is just something about hearing something like that from someone you don't know... Rock on wit'cher bad self!!!

Wow that just made me feel really grateful (guilty) that someone brought a carrot cake in to the office for someone's birthday. Nummy!
-
Thank you for taking the time to share your well written story!! It nearly made me cry. I hope it makes as big a difference to other members as it has to me.

I have used hummus as a "sauce" on pizza crust or naan (to make pizzas). Sooo stinkin good!

I have the exact haircut that you do and I love my Bondibands: http://www.bondiband.com/ I found them at a "health fair" where I had to pick up a race packet. They have some with cute sayings or pictures and in every color and pattern you can imagine. They're wide enough to keep the hair out of your face (although a clip…

I tried them when they first came out and wasn't really impressed. I was also a little shocked by the high calorie count in them. I hear radio advertisements for them and I did not have the reported experience of sustained energy. I was starving a few hours later... But if you dig 'em, go for it! Just stick to one packet.

I thrive on being able to change and maintain my body. Setbacks (like my tricky back) freaking kill me. I'm not so competitive, unless I'm on a team. I will go for the win for others, but not necessarily for myself.

*jaw dropped* thank you for all of the inspiring pictures. You are amazing!

A woman just met but I did not know, but who was hosting a bridal shower for my soon-to-be sister-in-law, came up behind me, patted me on the butt and said "Oooh such a rump on you, you'ah so lucky (insert New York Jewish Mother accent here)!"

Wow! Fantastic results!! Good on you for sticking with it. Don't give up until you hit those goals!!
