No way! My husband is thrilled with the results and my motivation to keep going. He's joined MFP for the calculators and the activity logging. I joined for the community because accountability works for me.

Welcome "home" Marianne! I can say with all confidence that, with your attitude and honesty, you will be successful here. We are here for you - make sure you show up! Good luck and congratulations on the upcoming nuptials!!

Stunning!! Your kids must be so proud of you! Your husband is a lucky man. I love how much more of your face your smile takes up now!

Avoid Ann Taylor. All their pants fit that way on me - but I'm an amazon... Keep on keepin on and keep shoppin!

HI! I am so glad you found MFP. I just started a few months ago and I can't belive the difference it's made in my motivation and resolve. I am working off the baby weight from baby number one (who will be five in September!!!). Let's motivate each other!

Yeahgirl! Losing the muffin top! Definitely less belly. Did you lose some boobages too? Sorry if ya did. I'm in the same boat.
-
That is horrifying! When I saw you hadn't logged in three days, I was worried (not worried enough to send you a message - sorry...). Please keep us posted. Feeling better now I take it?

Accountability is key. That's why I feel like MFP is going to be IT for me! If i know that someone is watching, I will make appropriate choices. If I feel that someone will benefit from the example I set, I will do my best to help them while helping myself. I'm here to provide a pat on the back or a kick in the a** -…

F margerine! That crap will kill you. Butter is best baby - olive oil when appropriate...

That metric made me smile! I'm so proud of you! Keep it up - you're an inspiration!!!

I start week three tonight (God willing) and I log in as slow a run as I can find: 12 min/mile. I run outside on a trail and I have no idea how long it is. Not the most accurate way to be sure, but I short-burn myself so I still come out ahead.

Why do people have to be so negative? It makes me sad. For them. But seeing your progress and your achievements, that makes me happy. You inspire me.
-
I delete the negative people or those who yammer on and on and treat MFP like Facebook. Focus people! We're on a mission here!

Outstanding!!! You look so great! And I bet you feel even better... You may just have given me the push I needed to post "before" pictures...
-
Showering before you work out is like washing your hair before you go to the salon... Although my husband does that...

I concur with the pelvic area. And I also have the same reward in mind when I reach my goal. We girls work so hard on the tummy area, it'll be good motivation not to slip back in to your old habits - you don't want to wreck your new tattoo!

I've seen xrays - I've got ginormous bones!!! Count me in! I was 5'11", now 5'10"ish after having two babies, now four and one. Still over 200lbs I can't use baby weight as an excuse any more. I know I'm never going to be a size eight but Imma work toward being the hottest 42 year old size 12 you've ever laid eyes on!

WOW! I'll bet you feel even better than you look. That's awesome!:noway:

I'm in Richmond, VA. I just recommitted to MFP. The food diary is a big one for me. I do much better if I remain accountable to all of these good total strangers who are rooting for me because they've been there too... Let's all get healthy together!

My one-year-old and four-year-old keep me on track for now. They're not old enough to have events and birthday parties to attend so they just wake up, eat breakfast, play (while I do the housework and play some), small snack, play, break for lunch, nap (while I run around like a madwoman) play, eat dinner, get ready for…

Hair. Strange but true.

You are definitely not alone Beth. Coffee is my catalyst. I love to eat cookies, cake, chocolate with my morning coffee. For me, it's never to early for sweets. Nestle Pure Life flavored water helps me in the afternoons. I'd have to quit coffee to quit my morning sugar habit and I don't see that happening. Better to get…

Count me in! Started MFP near the beginning of the year and have lost my steam. Have two boys: 4.5 and 1 who spend their day at "Nanny's (grandmas)" house, a husband that "works" from home, and I work full time +. I'm not sure what Insanity is, but I'd love to find out and join you.

Thank you so much for sharing!!! I've got to take that before picture already... You are on the same journey I just began. I am just over 5'10" and goal number one is where you are right now. Thank you for showing me that it IS possible. You look so happy. I'm sure you feel even better!

I just started last week with 30lbs to lose. That's goal #1. Fifteen more to reach goal #2. The girls at work turned me on to the site to keep track of our own progress. I had no idea it was such a big community - not unlike mommy boards or pregnancy boards. I have a four-year-old boy and another who turns one next month.…

Thanks for having the courage to shout out. I hit the wall when my post-pregnancy pants started getting tight. My baby is almost a year old. I don't weigh myself regularly because I'm 5'11" and the number freaks me out. The number 215 freaked me out recently because it means to me I've lost muscle and I feel like I should…

I am an office assistant for a mortgage company. I just started this today with my coworkers!
