yeeeahhh.. thought "QFT" was Quite F**king True

I don't think psychological help is limited in the UK at all - though I'm sure depending on where you live will make a difference to what you can get on the NHS. If you haven't done so already, please talk to your GP and outline everything you have shared with us here. There is usually a limit of 6 sessions for any one…

:embarassed: Given that I am indeed the clueless alien here, what exactly AM I not seeing?

Nuts. Definitely nuts. a 70g portion of cashews from marks and spencer is 410 calories, and it's not a great volume to eat (and is nommy as well). I love nuts but am actually finding I'm having to limit myself on them to stay in goal as they're so calorie dense (but good cals mind!)

<<< feels as if she is missing something? :ohwell:
-
I think she was referring to herself with the "you're not the one that gained 10lbs" - implying that she WAS the one it happened to. Still doesn't make the rest of it any less crazy

 I have recently gotten an FT4 after my older F4 died, it's ace, and was a bargain on ebay for about £20 :drinker:

Thanks for the dinner time lols, this is the first time I've witnessed what I thought to be the mythical "mfp sh*tstorm" But it's real, and it's beautiful. Pass the popcornz!

I should also add to the crazy by admitting that because my old boy is getting stiff and is no longer so agile, I built him a ramp and carpeted it just so he could still get into bed with us :blushing:

I used to have a 4ft monitor lizard who did routinely let himself out of his tank and found his way into my bed - this was before I had my dogs however! Now the 10ft boa constrictor is the one to watch, thankfully he has only escaped once and the dogs never realised he was on the loose. He gets his out time when they're…

At night they're all under the duvet with me :)

*raises hand* Currently shares a bed with 3 dogs.

First thoughts were that the woman in your story probably didn't think about how her words could be construed. Then I read your replies and I have a few things to say: - One, well done on your success, and your self confidence in your achievement is awesome. - Two, even in your "before" pic you looked good - Three, my…

*hands up* << Another here who earns a lot less than you, and I live in one of the most expensive areas in my country. Cost of living and food around here is crazy. But i spend a lot less, and am losing weight. As others have said, log everything, keep within the guidelines MFP sets for you, and if you go over, move more!…

I'm quite liking the premise of logging once a consecutive loss has been seen :)

My first guess for my size was actually right, but I decided before proceding that it looked too small to be me so guaged up. My problem with my image is that I *still* see myself as the size 10/12 that I used to be, because my top half hasn't changed much - it's not til I see pictures of myself I realise that actually,…

I still have problems with my broken toe 2 years after doing it so fingers crossed yours isn't so bad! I couldn't even put shoes on for a week and the toe now no longer bends when I curl the rest of them so it's perpetually uncomfortable. just take it slow and listen to what your toe is telling you :)

I'm a closet LHCer so I use extra virgin coconut oil on my hair, makes it soft and amazeballs smelling :)

Love them, and this is me speaking as someone who has a massive phobia of eyes lol. Last year I decided to suck it up and make myself do it, and now I love wearing lenses, it's great to be able to wear regular sunnies and just stick them on top of my head when I go into a shop rather than having to switch glasses every…

My only advice is don't beat yourself up, just take time away from this until you're ready. I was having a great time on the MFP bandwagon until things went horribly wrong for me just over a year ago, and I just couldn't give any of myself to this, so I didn't. I stepped away, and then I found myself getting back in the…

Yep the gorgeous little boy is called Theo :)

Lol yup I got that after I re-read, but I decided that my contact lens post could still be informative so didn't worry about editing for missing the initial point ;)

Where's this free beer? I want some of that action!

as for implantables, I'm guessing it's similar to the process that is undertaken when a cataract op is performed, replacing the lens of the eye with one that would accomodate for vision correction.. If so, plenty of cataract patients have great success when they have their new lenses put in, but accomodation for near…

any extended wear of colntact lenses increases risk to the eye for example infection so this has to be taken into account. There are monthly lenses you can technically under the supervision of an optician wear continuously for a month, there is also something called autokeratometry where rgp lenses are used at night to…

Of course it's lovely for them and I wish them well. BUT, I'm waaay more excited about the fact my sister just popped out my first nephew :)
