not sure where you live, but i went to a peak performance and had them fit me....mine are adidas but they tried several on me and these were the most comfortable. never having spent that much money on a pair of shoes before, i needed the 'expert' advice. that's my two cents. :) have fun shopping!

I am 5'4" started at 212, size 16 (tight), refused to buy size 18 . am now at 199 and the 16s are fitting a little better

new clothes and a phoenix tat...rising from the ashes...a new improved me. i also do mini goals at every 5 pound loss...provided i can afford it....by the time i can afford the 10 pound loss i just met, i'll probably owe for my 15 and 20 pound loss too :)

how can people workout on an empty stomach? i get all dizzy and lightheaded if i don't eat first.

i'd say you are in starvation mode. i was eating 1200 cals a day and not losing, bumped it to 1600 and have dropped consistently since then. because you don't eat regularly your body is hanging on to what it gets. just my 2 cents. good luck! :)

when i quit i slept alot for the first week or two. in the car was hardest for me. i also went cold turkey, it's been since October 5th for me. i slept a lot, then cleaned a lot. i painted my living room. keep busy, and try not to dwell on it. you'll do fine! :) good luck

it's great to try for healthy options, however, I think it is more important to watch portion control...even if you snack on the not so healthy stuff, if you monitor your portions you should be fine. :)

2 weeks in with no soda....at least 32 oz (if not more) a day...you are having caffeine withdrawls. (and sugar). push through it...i had a cup or two of hot tea with caffeine to help, but it's up to . it will go away eventually.

have you measured? i'm having the same problem, but i am losing inches...just not weight very fast....and i have about 80 total i'd like to lose but getting under 200 would be AMAZING for my morale

i didn't read all the posts...but you should watch 'fat sick and nearly dead' if you are seriously interested in juicing as a weight loss alternative. and for 4 grand....i'd go without food . yes we do sometimes do idiotic things for weight loss, but it's our body to do with as we choose.good luck!

I am here every day as well..been a couple months...I gave up pop cold turkey 12 days ago or so....i work out 5 days a week at work. so when i'm off i have a hard time being motivated (trying to find something to do on the weekends). always looking for encouragement and motivation! friend me! :)

most of mine have been mentioned already, but last week a song popped into my ears that had me doing the best on the treadmill that i've ever done. very corny, but here it is....Cotton Eyed Joe by RedNex....really got me going!
