This. There have been a few times I've turned my alarm off and went back to sleep but for the most part once I get up and turn the light on I usually am good to go. I'm not a morning person and 4:45 is awfully early but if you want it bad enough....

I go in about 5:00 am and I've tired eating like a banana before I go. Now I just have a Gatorade and I've been ok. I usually start getting hungry on the way home though.

This morning it was a little brown sugar and a bunch of blueberries. I also like strawberries.

In an attempt to avoid the meatheads I lift 3 mornings a week before work and then I'll go in and do more cardio at night. When my schedule clears up and next month I'll probably start doing it every day.

I used to listen to a lot of metal when I was lifting but I changed workouts and this one is shorter so I just listen to whatever the gym is playing. This morning it was 80's hair bands which was just fine. I listen to comedy podcasts when I do cardio. It's easier to forget that I hate cardio if I'm smiling the whole time.

I just joined a new gym so I am trying to hold them in as much as possible, but I'm pretty sure some poor guy walking into the gym had to walk through a cloud I laid down as I was leaving. It seems to happen more when I'm doing squats. I also use holding in farts as a mental excuse to take a break jogging on the treadmill.…

I'm not a coffee drinker so I drink green tea in the morning. I don't record that. It's just one cup and there are no calories in it anyway. I also tend to not record burritos. The ones I get from this particular local place isn't on the food list and I'm not going to ask them. It's usually a late night/early morning snack…

I've never been a morning person but recently I've decided to start lifting early in the morning, I get to the gym about 5:30-ish. Or if I know I'm going to be doing something after work I'll go do cardio in the morning. Otherwise it's usually about 8:00 pm. I actually like going in the mornings now.

I started putting raw spinach on my sandwiches instead of lettuce a while ago. If it's good enough for Popeye it's good enough for me.
