All of the above. Plus I'm very stubborn. Last night when I made myself a snack that I shouldn't have had, my husband made a comment that I should have eaten enough for supper so that I wouldn't be hungry later. That made me angry and more determined to have the high calorie snack.

It is always your choice. Skip dinner and be at goal or miss dinner and suffer through it. I unfortunately go over my goal often. I need to cut out the night time snacks. You could try having a salad with greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. and maybe a little chicken for some protein. That way you wouldn't go too much over.

You did say no hate mail. If people can't talk nice, they shouldn't say anything at all. I've never used it and I'm hoping that it works for you. I agree that overeating and obesity is a desease. My own addiction is sweets. Keep us updated on how you do and I really hope all goes well for you.

Me too. I need to lose a whole lot more then 30 pounds but that is a good start. I'm trying to do it in 10 pound increments. So my first challenge to myself is that 10 pounds and the ultimate challenge will be the 30 pounds. That will actually be perfect for this year. Been trying for years and I just keep going up.

I have the same issue and what even harder is that HE is the one that does the majority of our cooking. He is home all day and so it makes more sense for him to cook while I'm at work.
