You guys are gonna hate me now but...bacon. Never understood the love for it. It's not gross but not worth the hype, either. And especially not worth the calories.

Quoted for emphasis. And Michonne. They're allowed to eat Carl, though.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

Ever since I got myself into serious trouble with an April Fool's joke a couple years ago, I've stepped back and let others have the fun. :p

*cyber high fives you*

That's exactly what I said. :) Last great book I read was Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.

Jenny Colgan and Lindsey Kelk are also great authors from the romance genre. Though the heroines in Colgan's books often have their own cupcake cafes or sweet shops and that may now be the best to read while you're losing weight. ;)

A big YES to The Book Thief and Picture of Dorian Gray. Loved those. Anyway, there aren't really any classics on my list... "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry" by Rachel Joyce "The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared" by Jonas Jonasson "The Black Dahlia" by James Ellroy "Everything Is…

I haven't made it to A Feast of Crows yet but I know many people who didn't like it as much as the others. With that said, I can't read any of those books without taking a break and reading something else every now and then. There's just too much going on. I hate quitting books or even series but sometimes it cannot be…

I quite like Ben Affleck. I just never saw him in a superhero role. But as the awesome graphic up their shows, no one believed that Heath was Joker material either and now I think it would be close to impossible for anyone in the future to live up to the expectations after his amazing job. With that said, though, I'd have…

I started reading "A Clash of Kings" the other day. I loooove A Song of Ice and Fire but honestly, starting a 969 pages book feels like climbing a mountain.

I'm halfway through "Down Under" by Bill Bryson. I just love his books! And I also started reading "Floating Staircase" by Ronald Malfi last night because I was in the mood for some good chills. Remarkably, I instantly fell in love with Travis and Jodie.

I live in Duisburg, NRW. While there's not a lot I'd recomment about my hometown, there are many interesting and gorgeous little towns nearby and by the Dutch border, such as Xanten or Moers. In Xanten, you can see a lot of old buildings and ruins from the Roman times. They even have a whole park dedicated to it where they…

Tattoos. The good kind.

I couldn't care less about Doctor Who (yeah, I know...) but OMG, MINIOOOOONS! I'm wearing a TDK-Joker shirt today. Which I think is the only somewhat geeky shirt I own at the moment.

1. Get back into horseback riding 2. Buy a really expensive, really gorgeous (designer) outfit 3. Get a tattoo on my hip / belly / thigh 4. Take a burlesque dancing course (don't know if I'll have the guts then...)

I love GoT! I planned not to watch all the episodes unless I'd read the books first but now I've watched them all and have yet to start the second book. Favorite characters...hmm...I try not to have one because Martin will only goddamn kill them all!!! *trashes things in mad rage* But if I had one, I'd probably go for…

Damn, I envy you guys. Especially because you can get appointments so spontaneously. The artist I really want to get tattooed by currently has a waiting list of about a year. :frown:

I am juggling two books at the moment... "Good to be God" by Tibor Fischer (so, so funny!) "My Life in Black and White" by Natasha Friend for a YA reading group

While I don't agree with the way Cp731 worded their reply, I have to admit they do have a point. I understand where you're coming from as I, too, hate having to figure out what people are talking about with all their shortcuts and terms I've never heard before. And I wish there was an easy way without having to care about…

My pink sports bra. Not because of how it looks but it has the perfect straps to clip my iPod Shuffle and my membership card on. They alwas slip off the others. Doesn't really count as accessories, though...

One of my favorite books! Markus Zusak is a great writer.

I have a Kindle but I also still read "real" books. It depends on several things like author, cover, price, etc. whether I get the eBook or want it on my shelf.

Sheesh! That is harsh! Did you maybe eat someone's first born and forgot about it? My friend is heavily into Finnish / Scandinavian "goth rock pop emo whatever" bands like HIM and the "youngsters" that followed their path. Hate is a strong word but I...no. My other friend listens to a lot of melodic goth rock, medieval…

I'm starting "Siren (Ocean Rose #1)" by Tricia Rayburn today. For some reason, I find myself reading a loooot of YA literature lately.

You look great! Girl question: What brand / color is the lipstick? It's gorgeous!
-
Wow, I guess I'm lucky. I bought some of the cheap 10 Euro-kind and they're great. Never slip out of my ears and the sound quality is good. Not amazing but they drown out the other noise and have a pretty clear sound. Sadly, I don't remember the brand. :(

I'm in Germany but I don't wanna be a Hans-no-friends. :frown:

I'm going to Mallorca in 71 days (yes, I have a countdown app on my phone  ). It's the first proper vacation for me in about four years.

That's what I thought. I've never tried Red Velvet cake but I heard it's so good. Still, I doubt that's worth the calories for one slice, however giant it may be.
