I started out with 100lb to lose (well, 98!) at the start of this year, feel free to add, I need some more friends who aren't just trying to lose 10lb, makes me feel like I've got ages to go!

I'm losing about 100lb and I'm in the UK, geordie living in Hampshire

Well, I think we've all just been shown that sometimes, cooking just one meal or getting your husband to cook isn't possible, and Laura posted it in such a respectful and honest way. I think these are the kind of things people should consider before making sweeping statements like the OP.

I'm glad I'm not the only one annoyed by the person insulting feminists when they don't know what one is. And don't be silly, of course we can't make those choices. IT'S NOT TRADITION. God, how dare you put your opinions on me  Now, excuse me while I go and do the typically masculine task, carrying a bag of rubbish…

Yeah, I've been pretty busy today, not enough time for lovely meaty animals. If I'd made that I'd post it everywhere. Seriously though, mac and cheese in a meatloaf WITH BACON?! what genius came up with that? It's like... well, I can't say what it's like, because that will get me banned from the forums I'd guess. Needless…

That's the second time I've seen that turtle. I'm still impressed, and my fiance is threatening to leave me unless I can learn to make food into animals like you. Damn you.

Nah, he knows I'm working my bum off at the gym, it would be nice! However, if I wasn't already going to the gym, I'd take such a strop!
-
Why thank you

I usually don't mention it on here, due to the amount of people you get telling you off (even when your doctor has recommended it) for being on 1200, but I am too, so feel free to add :) My diary is private because I eat at strange times thanks to my job, but feel free to ask away and I can tell you about it :) Edit: I…

I changed mine for the carbs too, and reduced the sodium. My body reacts badly to sodium, I retain water like a sponge...

If someone has told you that is what feminism is about, they're lying to you. It's about having an equal role in society. So not a total role reversal. Rumour has it I'm a bit of a feminist, but one of my best friends is an active, goes to meetings, goes to protests kind of feminist. And do you know what? She does a lot of…

I'm giving up having excuses not to go to the gym... I'm not religious, but if there is a god, he will be impressed by that
-
I did, but I didn't want to falsely claim I knew  I worry about my raging manliness at times lol

Yogurt, and vegetables. I'm addicted to salad, it's amazing haha. Any low fat protein you can get in is always good. Also, you're probably going to get told off for eating too few calories by a few people, just to prepare you. There are some people on here who really know their stuff mind, so there might be some posts you…

I'm a sweaty beast at the gym, with no makeup, my hair all tied up (even my fringe pinned back) and to be honest... I am too busy working out to worry what people think I look like while I'm doing it. However, I'll admit, sometimes I feel a bit insecure next to all the girls with their hair and makeup done who don't appear…

Salad - Basic Mixed Salad White Potatoes - Potatoes Asda Good for You - Rye Crispbread Onions - Raw I haven't eaten a crispbread in about 6 months, but I got obsessed with them for a while so they're still up there! I put onions in everything I cook pretty much, and I make homemade wedges when I'm craving potato... as for…

Sorry for the double post, I just noticed this... let's not fight sexism with what could be seen as more sexism please! Yeah, I can do some of that... not the service on a 4x4, or build a ditty cart (cos I have not a flipping clue what one of those is!), but if there's something that needs done with the computer or general…

I work 12 hour shifts, and my fiance is incapable of sticking to a recipe or planning a healthy meal. Therefore, when I get home, I cook. He doesn't like what I cook, he knows where the takeout menu is (he isn't being healthy!). We tried taking turns cooking, but I kept finding that he'd added "just a bit of oil" and not…

I didn't even click onto that until you mentioned it, then I changed it to ml (I'm in the UK, I don't do oz of liquid!) Speak to your doctor, and log every day is my advice. None of us are medical professionals on here (well, not many! I'm a nurse but I don't think I count). If you can, speak to a doctor who speciailises…

Listen to your endocrologist, and if you're confused about it, ask them or your doctor. People on here are very quick to point out that it's recommended that you don't eat under 1200, but there are obviously medical issues involved, so I'd speak to specialists.

Mine have started to disappear already, thank god, they pretty much blend with my skin now, unless you're looking for them! And everyone has stretch marks, literally, everyone, so don't worry too much about it
-
If it's really really nearly fitting, try reducing salt and eating as clean as possible for the 5 days, hopefully it will take away any bloating and get you into it! And exercise is always good

I did all of January without drinking, and it has worked really well, I've lost just over 14lb. I thought more about what I was eating, and there was less chance of a drunken slip up, but apart from that not much difference to be honest!

I got a personal training session, but before that I was just doing cardio, it was mostly to get me going on the weights! Try googling beginners treadmill routine or something like that, I got loads of ideas from that, same goes for other machines. Hope that helps!

Hi guys, 23 years old 5'5 SW 231 CW 212 GW 133 I started last year, gave up, ate cake, gained it all, and now I'm back again!

I went out with someone who had a theory that you could tell everything you needed to know about a girl by her nails and her shoes. Apparently he and his friends had honed it down to a fine art!

Strong men with a bit of stubble always catch my eye, I go all weak at the knees for someone with nice arms! :blushing: Also, someone who can not only make fun of themselves, but also make fun of me. I like a bit of good banter!
-
I don't, but I only have one every few days because I try not to eat too many processed foods... I sometimes bore myself trying to be healthy :ohwell:
-
I sing songs to my hamster... I don't know if that's embarrassing, or just the fact that at 23 I have a hamster!

I know a few people are slating him for saying not to count your calories, but I know quite a few programmes (particularly some groups run by the NHS) recommend not counting calories, and gaining a better understanding of the food you eat to make healthy options. I'm a nurse, so I don't really have much nutritional…
