Wow, that's really impressive. Congratulations, really well done. Having said that...this is NOT to criticize you or be a "meanie," but I'm going to be honest...I would never, EVER recommend someone do what you just did. Without properly training for that kind of distance, there is too much risk of injury.

^^^So true. I don't enjoy strength training as much as I do running, but I do it to make running easier and help avoid injury.

You should ask a doctor.

Hello? Anyone? Bueller?

It's one of the world's greatest mysteries. I wish I had an answer for you, but alas, I am baffled as well.

It's hard to tell what your weight fluctuations will be after only a month. After a few more months you will probably notice a pattern, and as long as the scale is trending downward, you're doing fine.

That sucks! I hope you get better fast. I know all about the impossibility of resting while taking care of a 4YO boy. (My boys are 5 and 3 1/2). My best remedies are Claritin D (not the stuff on the shelf, the kind you have to get from the pharmacist and sign a waiver swearing you're not using it to make meth) and…

Ditto to both. I indicated earlier in this thread that skinny jeans don't look good on anyone, and I'd like to admit that I made a mistake. I actually wear them with tall boots myself. They do look good/great on some body types. What I was picturing in my mind was that guy from that band that married that other Simpson…

I have felt the same way many, many times. Keep refocusing. Try new exercises, new foods. Try mediation. Read Geneen Roth's books. You can regain control. Keep trying. :flowerforyou:

Exactly. Did boot cut jeans go out of fashion? *shrug* Don't care, they look good on me so I wear them.

And how many times has she had to lose the weight again after gaining it all back? Yeah, that's what I thought. But I'll take the chalet.

Try Flatouts. They sell them at most grocery stores now.
