I should be getting a swimsuit in the mail today (eek!), so I'll take a picture then. I'm just under 36 BMI at 242 lbs and 5'9'-5'10''ish tall.

I eat subway all the time as its the only place within walking distance from my work. I also lost 6 lbs last week...so what do you think? Any sub fits within the calorie allotment given to me by MFP. I'm also never hungry, so I don't know why you think eating at a deficit = hungry. Sure if you spend your calories on candy…

I just keep a pack of the fun size Hershey's Special Dark in the cupboard. One little bar isn't going to kill you...rather dark chocolate is good for your heart. :) It's just all about keeping things small.

I was born in the Westlake/Bay Village area (near Cleveland). Live in Michigan now though. I miss my old haunts.

I haven't done planks since high school gym class... Why not take a chance? <3
-
No, but I think I'd make a good one.

Is it Erica?

I believe in the theory put forward by the Hacker's Diet, that there are several stable weight points that your body has. Some weights are hard to maintain, while others you settle at naturally. These points are also where you plateau, since it's a comfortable match for your body. I know based on experience that I have…

Eat some ice cream, but share it with a friend. :) I do that all the time.

I'm bipolar with a panic disorder. One antidepressant made me gain 70lbs in 2 months. One mood stabilizer made me gain 30 more. At 286 I couldn't take being that fat anymore, so I asked to be put on different medications. So just like that, 40 lbs fell off of me. The rest, however, wanted to stay. Even before I was…

Don't beat yourself up too much. The important thing is that you're here now. I know that's what I have to think to myself any time that I slip up--I've caught what I was doing wrong...so now I'll do it right.

i would love to work out with my husband. Sadly we only own one piece of exercise equipment, so we have to share. But one day we'll get his and hers ellipticals....just gotta get the PhD finished first.

I eat between 300 and 500 calories for breakfast. Sometimes more if we go out to a restaurant--those days I just make sure I work out. <3

Me too. I love wine and would never give it up. I love to drink coffee too, but drink decaf and herbal teas instead of water. Though sometimes wine gets traded for vodka or jager...

In my experience it all depends on the way you store fat in your breasts. I weighed 286 and was a solid 38D-DD. I am now 242 and am a 36D-DD. Why did the band drop and the cup stay the same? Because my breasts are not very fatty. They're mostly gland tissue with a little bit of softness, so I lost in other areas, like my…

You keep gunning for the OP. Did this strike a nerve with how a lady in your life is treating you?

I get a decent burn out of the elliptical machine. I burn 700+ per hour. And even better, I've got a TV and DVD player in front of the machine, so if I get the urge to watch TV or a show I have on disc...time flies when you're not paying attention to the exercise.
-
I shoot for 200 or less if its a day I don't work out. I don't mind going over by 200 if it's a day I did exercise. I feed my body when it's active...and leave it alone when it's not.

Hands. The small of the back for men. The collarbone area for women.

I kinda dread what Thanksgiving will be like if my weight loss so far is anything to go by. "Here, eat something! Your cheeks are too thin!" Some people will congratulate you...but I find that for the most part, people don't like it when you change.

She's here obviously asking if somebody has life experience with this issue, not for a second medical opinion. No need to play Captain Obvious.

I wish my mother had taken a more blatant approach to me growing steadily overweight. She'd make hints here and there, but I bet she was too afraid to really say it because she herself is more overweight than I am. I have ridiculous self esteem. If I had been given a BMI chart and been told, "maybe you should work on this"…

I moved out at 18 If it were legal, I would have moved out sooner. I needed space to be my own person away from everyone else. If I could go back I would tell myself to be flexible because things don't always pan out the way you want to, whether it's roommates, the property, furniture etc. It was a very easy move-out for…

I have a huge frame and it takes a long time for me to go through sizes. I can go 25-30 lbs between dress sizes, easy.
-
Yeah. I had a friend in high school whose mother had the same problem. Girls size 14-16.
-
Nope! I was spot on as well. I guess it just means that we're truly in-tune with our bodies as they are now.
-
Wow! I'm a size 16 (tight too), and I hope that I can do as well as you have. Truly an inspiration!

I have a 4 year old snow-phase corn snake named River and a 2 year old black cat named Malcolm. <3

Female, 26, 5'9''-5'10''ish Was 248 lbs 10 days ago...haven't made my way to the scale since then Workout 30-60 min every day, mostly elliptical now but I'll add in some resistance too. I eat between 1700 and 2000 cals per day I might not be hardcore, but today my rings started spinning on my fingers...so something must be…

We're behind you babe! Just remember eating healthy and exercising isn't all or nothing. If you make a mistake, don't let it make you snowball. Just pick up where you left off and pretend it never happened.
