  • Can you get physical therapy? It sounds like either a hip flexor (iliopsoas) strain, or a SI (sacroiliac) joint issue. The no pain on decline makes me think more hip flexor than SIJ.   • I've learned that it really isn't all that hard to lose weight, you just have to want to. I've learned that nobody can make the decision for you, you have to do it for yourself. I've learned that after eating good, healthy food for so long, a pizza makes me feel ill. And that is wonderful.

  • Totally normal. Happens on the stationary bike too. Try lifting your feet off the pedals when you step up, the weighting and off weighting of your feet will help the blood pump in your feet, increasing circulation, decreasing numbness. Also the tips of loosening laces, etc should help as well.

  • Know that if you exercise during your period, you WILL feel better. Exercise helps those muscles in your abdomen relax because of movement and stretching. The weight gain is totally normal, we all get it. Make sure you're geting enough protien during that time, your body needs the iron because of the blood loss.

  • Generally, think of proteins as a goal to hit, not something to stay under. Same with fiber. The carbs, sugars, fat, and of course calories are what you should strive to stay under.
