the navel is a natural lip, so the chances of rejection are less than say an eyebrow or a labrette. If you had it done by a licensed piercer then they would have used surgical grade steel for your banana bar this is less likely to cause any problems than gold. The redness should go in time. Keep it clean and where possible…

I walk between 30 mins and an hour a day five days a week depending on the weather then I do an hour of cardio on the Biggest Loser on the Xbox. It seems to be doing the trick!

well done! I don't know if I would have the same level as control as you

our food bills seem to have come down since we started eating healthy. I am cooking from scratch pretty much every meal and last week we spent about £55 on the five of us. No one went hungry and we still have food left from that shop. To some extent it's about planning, but I also feel it's about the ability to cook. There…

There's some beautiful tweed out there now. I can't see my Gran in Vivienne Westwood  But you are right, attitudes to getting old have changed. When I was younger I said to myself that I'd stop colouring my hair when I got to 25...Well, that was a long time ago, and I'm still colouring. You can wear whatever makes…

I've been using Biggest Loser on Kinect for almost two weeks. I have cut out all of the rubbish I was eating and am currently doing five hours of moderate exercise a week on the game. I have lost almost a stone (it's my weigh in tomorrow, but I had a sneaky peek this morning) and an inch off of both my waist and hips. IMO…

I still wear 'em too. My current faves are pink suede

I love cous cous! I usually use marigold stock to make it up then you can add all sorts of yummy things. My favourite is roasted peppers and onions in balsamic. Add a bit more vinegar than normal and then it get all soaked into the grains. Or some onions, aubergines and peppers roasted in harrissa then add those to the…

I agree. If you deprive yourself then you are less likely to keep it up. As the old saying goes "a little of what you fancy does you good".

Soups are great. I do one which is a onion, a pepper, a can of chopped tomatoes, a can of beans in a chilli sauce, vegetable stock and tabasco. (If you don't add the stock to this one then you can have it with rice or a wrap like a quick bean chilli) or root vegetable soup which is three parsnips, an onion, a couple of…

Hello! I'm Ange and I'm in the Midlands. Feel free to add me. You've made a great start and I hope that spurs you on to do more :)

Hello, I'm Angela, 37 and live in the midlands. I've been on this nearly a week. Lost a couple of stone using Food Focus a few years back but have eaten all back and more! Feel free to add me I need all the help that I can get

My first was The Cure @ the Crystal Palace Bowl. They were supported by James, Lush & All About Eve The last one that I went to was Brian Setzer's Rockabilly Riot in July.

I've been using The Biggest Loser for nearly a week and it's been hard work but fun. Better than a DVD as it changes every day and seems to evolve with you. I have my first weigh in on it tomorrow. The achievements are, well, achieveable, so you feel like you are making progress. We've also been playing a bit of fruit…

As others have said it is already very expensive this summer but if you were hoping to catch a show in the West End you'd be very disappointed as many theatres have decided to close during this time. London at Christmas is lovely. The tree in Trafalgar Square the lights in Regents and Oxford Street and the windows of…

Depeche Mode at the O2 in Feb 2010. My eldest daughter's first gig with Nitzer Ebb supporting. Absolutely amazing show made unforgettable by having her there.

Personally I like Davina, but she seems to be a bit marmite. Jackie & Mark are great and it comes across as they actually enjoy the work out. It's not precious or over glossy and more importantly you feel like you've worked hard. Give it a go, you've got nothing to lose!

Hello, I'm a vege in the West Midlands with about 4 stone to lose :( Looking for some inspiration and motivation.
