You have a high protein intake, is this to help you build muscle? They do say muscle weighs more than fat (not sure how true this is, I'm no expert) Maybe your lack of weight loss is due to muscle gain.

I only weigh myself once a week, every monday morning when I get up. Are you going overboard by eating a high calorie meal or do you snack/buy takeaways? Sylvia - Maybe finding new recipes will re-ignite your love of cooking. I've spent hours online looking for "healthier" recipes, recipes that use fish/veg I've never cooked with before and recipes I can adapt. Nottie - I have a problem with portion control too but you sound like you're doing really well with the exercising.

I'm 5"7 and 245lbs and have a desk job and my calorie intake goal is 1300 per day in order to lose about 2lbs a week. I try not to eat all my exercise calories each day but if my food intake goes over the 1300 cal mark I find some comfort knowing I have the exercise calories to fall back on. Hi! I've been about 245lbs since I was about 23 (now 38) and my ideal weight is apparently 140lbs, so got 100lbs to lose slowly.
