Those only have 15 grams of protein, with 18 grams of carbs. Nice and high on fiber, though. I'd look for something higher in protein - range of 20-25g.

Mushrooms. I can't stand the texture no matter what way I eat them. Brussel Sprouts. Anything that smells like my husband's feet will not pass my lips.

You look amazing and are an inspiration! :) Definitely keep it up for your mental and physical well-being!!!!

Feel free to add me too! I started Stage 1 last week, but hit a bump this week due to a nasty virus! Going to restart next week after some R&R! (hubby is going to start with me too!)

The olsen twins .... and a few skanks from my past :)

My kids ask every day before school "are we going to the gym tonight?"

I've got an "ankle bracelet" of a flowery vine on my right ankle. Has absolutely no meaning, but I think it's pretty damned awesome. And any grown man with a Bieber haircut needs to seriously reconsider self expression.

You are absolutely AMAZING, inspirational and awe-inspiring :)

Racial profiling most certainly exists and it's absolutely disgusting. I work in civil litigation, and it pisses me the hell off - we try like hell to nail them for it, but public opinion is easily swayed by biased media renderings. Cops are supposed to be the good guys and these boys they murder must be gangsters, thugs,…

I just upped my lifting intensity big time and I'm dealing with the same thing. I like it, though, because I know I'm pushing myself hard! Water, protein shakes, ice, a foam roller if you have one, all help. light exercise is great. I walk the dogs a few miles every other day in between lifting sessions. It gets better.

My resting BP, which has been creeping up for the past 5 years, has gone down to 90/70 - at my annual checkup my PCP actually high five'd me! Wrapping a regular towel around my body is a definite NSV! I'm only limited in the amount of groceries I can carry into the house by the need to leave a hand free to open the front…

Sadly, I'm uneducated in many fitness things, including protein supplements, but was recently turned on to Amplify (GNC) chocolate. I put a TBSP of natural peanut butter in it - best tasting protein shake I've ever had plus I've been assured by several people that it is high quality. Downside - with a GNC card, it's at the…

Definitely this. I wear a regular underwire on the bottom and a good sports bra on top. Those puppies don't move!

I'm 39.95 plus shipping and handling!

Now they say that, barring any medical conditions, you should keep doing what your body was used to doing before getting pregnant. I think they have you back off ab isolation exercises starting in the 2nd trimester, but don't quote me there.

diced chicken, sliced grapes, celery, walnuts and a TBSP of mayo (just enough to make it stick).

bwahahahahahaha! Seriously, too many doctors got their degrees from K-mart. When I got pregnant with my first child, I knew absolutely nothing about pregnancy and the internet was still a baby itself. My OB told me to stop all lifting/cardio (I was doing some pretty intense cardio and heavy lifting) and ONLY take light…

I'm 5'4" Highest weight: 196 SW with MFP: 184 CW: 164 GW: 135 Feel free to add me! I try to encourage everyone - and frankly, I quickly became addicted to MFP :) I like MFP because I can focus on hitting macros as opposed to trying to follow fad diets or crazy calorie restrictions! (I love my food!)

I pay $70/mo but it covers my entire family of 5. That includes all classes, childcare room, plus kid sports - karate, gymnastics and rockclimbing. No pool, but there's a sauna in the women's locker room.

It's whatever a person WANTS to look like. I just had this convo this morning with a coworker. She started an intensive (100+lb) weight loss journey in March and is doing well with it by using the treadmill and taking zumba classes. It's not the first time I've suggested she try to incorporate weight training, and she's…

HI! I've seen comments about this book, and finally bought it yesterday. I just searched MFP because I was worried I was too fat to do this (I'm 166lbs). I've lost 20lbs since Jan. with a 1500 cal diet (130g carbs, 150g protein and I forget the rest). I knew I needed to preserve muscle but didn't want to go extreme on…

1. My clothes (didn't) fit anymore (some do now!) and I wasn't about to buy new ones, so I was wearing sweatpants to work everyday! 2. I realized there are only a very few family photos with me in them. I'm sure my kids would prefer to have pictures of me when I'm gone. 3. Self-esteem. Yeah, I just want to look good, maybe…

Please pay attention to what others on here are saying to try to educate you (not the mean ones). Their comments are based on known science - your current diet is very unhealthy. Your body needs fuel to function and to exercise, which comes from food. You are in starvation mode. This causes loss of muscles and bone mass,…

AMAZING!!! Be very proud of yourself for all that you have accomplished and all that you are working through!

Click on your Food tab. If you scroll all the way to the very bottom of the page, you will see an orange rectangle that says "View Full Report (printable)" This is exactly what you are looking for! Congrats on joining MFP!
