Personally I'd cut out the ice tea and use those extra calories to find something full of fiber to eat. Not that the ice tea is bad, but there are better things, things that'll actually make you feel full, that you can use those calories for. :3 Yummy, filling things. edit: Wait. Spoke too soon. Checked out the calories in…

If your main problem is not having the time to log your calories, then don't :3 I find that it takes up too much time, so what I do instead is... make sure I know the amount of calories in the foods I'm eating know how much I usually should eat in a day before going over over-estimate my calories use set plates, bowls, and…

Oh Beautiful BC~ Hello from van :3

Power to the short people~ You can do it!

This is the study that I read: http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/recipes/healthy-eating/superfoods/chocolate-milk-after-workout/ Not the end all and be all, but pretty accurate. And I do not imply that you should burn every carb in your body. In fact, that's impossible. The study does not suggest this either. I only meant to…

Just a small thing about the chocolate milk. I scanned over the study a bit and it comments on the fact that people should only go the chocolate milk route if they're hardcore working out. Long distance running, cycling and the like. You don't want to be filling yourself with more carbs when your body hasn't even burnt off…

I didn't want to cause a scene in a thread where it didn't belong, but i came across a post that landed in someones thread who was celebrating a success. The post was completely undeserved and unprovoked. The owner's account was deactivated shortly after, and it may be likely that the actual poster was simply trolling..…

Thank you very much :3 I'm really thankful for MFP really. It helps me stay on a healthy track. There's a lot of media--especially asian media, that promotes an unhealthy level of skinny. It's also definitely not good that I want that, so I stick around here to stop that from happening : P
-
I'm 4"11, I daresay the shortest person on MFP : D. Don't worry D: Even at 90-93 pounds it's a bmi of about 18.5 I think? I'm doing everything the healthy way too (eating, exercising, eating..eating) :3

99 lbs 7-9 lbs to go : D I have all my finals next week. The same finals that determine if the uni's that have accepted me keep me with them. I haven't studied nearly as much as I should have;; So I think weight loss is going to have to go on the backburners these next two weeks .___. Hopefully posting this up will give me…

I'm 4'11.5 ..;yes, 0.5 D: its important. I vary how much I eat usually. It can go anywhere between 900-1400 depending on what I'm doing that day.. my probably ineffective version of zigzagging :3 I'm still losing weight so I'm assuming its all good and if you feel alright with eating less and you're still dropping weight…

kashi and special k, kashi and special k <3 It's the driving force that actually gets me to wake up in the morning.

wow~ I've never heard of those noodles before. I want to try it now! edit: --oh dear, nevermind. I've eaten it prepared as wrapped dumplings. They're good, although the texture is a tad rubbery. Never knew what they were called :3

I've found that the supermarkets are now carrying a lot of "100 CALORIE" pack type foods. Heavily processed.. Iunno. I rather have a big healthy delicious snack that may be a little higher in calories than a processed unhealthy low cal small one.

Thank you everyone for your input~ Not so worried about the meal plan anymore, but like sarahemilyrn and cpress said, socializing may lead to over eating ; D I'll have to watch out for that, thank you :3 muu, choosing my school.. I don't even know where to begin ;__; When I applied I was unsure of what I wanted to go into,…

congrats~ You've got the ball rolling and are well on your way :3

Yeaa<3 I've finally gotten down to losing 10 pounds! I've got another 5-7 to go, which makes it more than half way~ The prom dress that I ordered weeks ago in a size down than what I originally tried on fits better on me than the one the size larger did before~ I reached a new record for my running! Ran 2 miles straight at…

Hello all~ So I've found out I've been accepted into the universities I applied for. It's almost guaranteed that I'll have to live on residence during this time. Exciting stuff, except I'm a little worried about the meal plans they've got set up. For one of the universities I applied for, buying the meal plan is mandatory…

When I fall into a back arch to stretch my back, fat rolls on my back do not appear. : D... Also the thighs thing, but I thought the back fat rolls were a stranger thing to be proud about : P

I've found that using the website is too time consuming and arduous. So instead, I log everything I eat on my laptop (since it's always with me). Using a notepad could be do the same thing if you just bring it around with you. Once you've looked up the amount of calories for a few things, you can make pretty good…

It's because you're losing weight :3 The less you weigh*, the harder it is to burn calories. Just think of it as motivation to push yourself harder as your body becomes more fit. It also depends where you're getting this calorie info from. If its from a HRM then perhaps its because your body is adapting to the exercise,…

oioi;; I have this same problem. I enter my weight into the treadmill and even if I'm off and running continuously for 35min+, I can barely make it past 250cals. Makes me feel like I haven't put enough effort in even if I'm exhausted. Get a HRM~ The machines at the gym are probably inaccurate. I want to. But I don't have…
-
Oo I have a question regarding HRM. Sorry to momentarily jack the thread, but I didn't think the question is worth creating a whole new topic. Do you guys find it a good investment to buy a hrm? They're a bit expensive and in the end, you really only want them to tell you how many calories you're burning. If you…

Yea! It's why I joined mfp actually. Learning how to balance life : P As for the waking up early plan. ._. 5:30 is the time I wake up regularly to get to school on time;; But I can see the benefits of waking up a little earlier to exercise I'm lucky at the moment I'll have to admit. My boss opened a new restaurant and so…

: ) I knew I wasn't the only one. But I haven't seen any posts on this issue. Lots of posts involving stress in itself. But it seems the best cure addressed in those threads is to exercise more. Student+work = not really much time to exercise more, or exercise at all;;; Any other students found a way to get around this?

asdfasdfasdf. Shame on me. I went two weeks straight without going to the gym even once. Never ever ever again. D< So I just went back to the gym today, and I couldn't keep up with what I did previously before my two week break. Ridiculous. Thankfully my weight didn't rise, but it's not any lower either.. School would be…

Oh boy. Asia. Well. On the plus side the culture and general populous gives you encouragement to keep at your weight loss? I haven't wanted to go back there seeing as I'd be considered overweight there too; Please ignore your friends. You're doing absolutely fantastic. Keep it up. As for the binge eating, I can't suggest…

If you're only 4'11 you can afford to lose a bit.

104 * 15 = 1560 - 500 = 1060 Something tells me that your equation is a little inaccurate. :3
