In my opinion it depends on how your lifestyle before and how much you weighed prior to starting this journey. If you used to eat about 3000 cals a day and you never worked out you may lose more weight when you decrease your cal intake and take up exercising.

It is a DVD by Jillian Michaels( from the biggest loser). It is made up of 3 levels each with approximately 20 minutes of cardio, strength and ab exercises. it is a great "butt-kicker" :-)

I always weigh in regardless of whether it is TOM or not. I know we retain water then but I still weigh in. Do you weigh in weekly? Go ahead with your regular weigh in now and then compare it to your next one.

When I do the 30 day shred I enter it as "Circuit training, general". I figured I'd do this until I can afford a Heart Rate Monitor.

Congratulations! I have heard of people who have lost unhealthy weight while pregnant because they started eating right and exercising. Talk to your doctor or a nutritionist.

I heard that sometimes our muscles get used to the workout so we have to change it up a bit not necessarily increase the time.

I think you should put lightly active since part of your day is spent sitting and then you kinda have to run around later.
