  • My hubby from day one has called me "hey beautiful" or "sexcito" - even at my fattest. He has an assortment of pet names, but when he calls me by my real name, that's when I know he's in a bad mood.
  • Someone else mentioned Bud 55 but I find it very difficult to drink....as in gross, doesn't taste like beer. I was a Bud Light girl. I switched to Miller 64 and love it - and if I they don't have it, I'll drink Miller Lite for 96 cals instead. I work my once a week or every other week night out with hubby into my calories…
  • I didn't plan to ever run, not with the things I have going on with my body & my chest always kept me from doing it (thank you for advancements in large busted bra's that have real support). I was walking daily for four months and I was started getting these urges to do more, to go faster & burn more calories... so I'd…
  • I'm the same way! Did all cardio last year and when the snow hit & I couldn't get outside, I had a little slide the last two months of 2012 where I barely did anything and I felt AWFUL. So........ I got a weight bench for Christmas and 140 lbs of weights. I ordered the NROLFW, but it hasn't arrived yet (hopefully by the…
  • Yay for you! keep up the great work!
  • Used to be a Bud Light girl - especially in those aluminum bottles. YUM!!! But, since when I do drink (which isn't that often), I tend to drink quickly (aka consume mega calories), I switched to Miller 64 and really enjoy it now. Doesn't give me hangovers or make me sick. I will revert to Miller Lite when the 64 isn't…
  • Do a search on the message boards for Fitbit. You'll find a bunch of info there. I just ordered the fitbit one yesterday.
  • I just ordered the Fitbit One today and hopefully it will be here by mid-week. I've seen a lot more positives about them then negatives from reading all over the internet. I've had my HRM for 10 months and am very anxious to use something new!
  • As for ignoring phone calls - as for the Curves Ive been to and know if, there is only ever one instructor at a time working so they let the answering machine pick up. I definitely say walk in & check it out rather than waiting for a call.
  • I belonged two years ago only because it was close and there is nothing else around. I joined again last March because they offer zumba (again, the only local place that has it). So, I gave the circuit another round and don't find it worth my time. I was working out very hard on the circuit and still the most calories I…
  • I LOVE Morningstar Farms original chicken patties, black bean burgers or their original grillers on a sandwich thin with lettuce and ketchup. I always have them in the freezer! I just bought the sausage crumbles, but haven't tried them yet. Tried the hot dogs and they were not even edible - yuck!
  • Hi. I don't have an addictive personality - except to icing! Since my birthday in October, I've been going crazy with buying donuts just to eat the icing out of the middle or chocolate chip cookies with icing in the middle and on top. Or a piece of cake to eat the icing off the top. I had some physical issues that limited…
  • I hear ya on the wanting to eat stuff urge! Sitting at work for another 35 minutes, taking half day vacation and the stress & tension are SOOO bad in this office that all I'm thinking about is food. I ate my breakfast, then some cooked apples, have drank 50 oz of water - all this in four hours and NOTHING is helping. I am…
  • You look adorable, congrats!
  • Egg McMuffins at McDonalds with a large coke. Then a greasy steak & cheese from anywhere for lunch.....so glad I don't drink anymore!
  • Wow! What an awesome transformation! Many congrats to you!!
  • Nope... 5 weeks without today & I'm REALLY disgusted about it. Lots of anger going on for me, but guess my choice being I dont want to be with a spouse who's drunk way too much. Used to be cute, now it's just gross.
  • For as long as I remember, I was a 36 or 38DD, gained a ton of weight to be a 44F or 44DDD. Down 54 lbs and it's all different - now a 36G. I'm happy, though. I can't imagine NOT having my boobies (& geez, my husband sure wouldn't be happy - lol). I dream of a lift, but that is all.
  • I'm 5'1", currently at 152, My initial goal was 118, maintain that for a while then shoot for 104, but have changed that all 135. I am bigger chested, I am happy now with my clothing - Large tops, 8 jeans. I don't see myself being able to maintain 104 at my age (just turned 46), & people who knew me then say I was too…
  • I have a Droid not Iphone & I never had a problem with the battery while using MapMyRun, but I downloaded Runtastic & it completely sucks the life out of my fully charged battery. I was out for 75 minutes and was down to 10%. I no longer use Runtastic.
  • I never had acne as a teenager and never got any until I was 43. I started using Carley's Clean & Smooth products which I fell in love with! www.clearandsmoothskin.com/ is the link - their products are awesome & they last a long time - I would definitely recommend their product line!!! You can buy it from their site and…
  • I didn't do this, but my daughter would say "spitachios" instead of pistachios. She is 13 now. Her dad & I didn't even correct her until she was around 8 because we would laugh every time she said it. The only word I really butchered, per my parents, was "kitchen". I'd say "kickin". My daughter would also say…
  • You bet! Been going for as long as I can remember - probably 20 years. I go alone because everyone thinks it's nuts. This year my kids - 13 & 15 - want to go, too. The key is don't have your heart set on any of those unbelievable deals unless you want to stand in line 6 hrs early to get one of the five or ten they have in…
  • Have the FT4 & love it. I use it pretty much daily; not a problem ever, haven't had to change the battery yet. I did buy a second chest strap to alternate with, but it was cheap from Amazon.
  • If you don't ever want to be pregnant or are done having kids, there is a procedure called Essure. I had it done in oct 2006 (along with Novasure which is burning out your uterus). With Essure, they put rods into your fallopian tubes. Best two things I ever had done!!!!
  • In addition to having a c-section in 1999, I ended up needing 5 hernia's repaired in 2003. My entire stomach is mesh from one side to the other. I don't have much hope of ever losing my pouch because of the hernia repair :( I would be happy to have only the pouch I had from my c-section!
  • I started running for the first time this past spring & immediately fell in love with it! Ran a 5K in September; the weather here is now in the 30's & I tried running in layers of sweatshirts, sweatshirts, tops, jackets, etc and that didn't go so well. Sooo... today I drove an hour to the Under Armour store and spent $162…
  • I felt the same way when I started back in April. I went to a high school track in the evenings in a different school district. I'd bundle up & try to make myself recognizable because alot of folks my age use the same track. Once I ran my first .5 mile (sounds so trivial now - lol), I felt proud of myself. I started…
  • Dang, our Walmart hasn't had it in a long, long time. All they have are the little packs that you'd put in coffee or something. :(
