  • Think I'll try this tonight since I have some banana's laying around. Thanks for posting!
  • I had a large mole removed from the front of my neck when I was 14. I have never regretted having it removed; I'll take a life-long scar any day over a mole! My incision line is only about 1/2" long and barely noticeable. It's 31 years later, but I can't remember having ever thought a moment about it. Mine was surgically…
  • Kellogs Pasty Crisps work for me for sweet cravings - the cinnamon ones are delish - a pack of two is 100 calories. Fiber one chocolate brownie or the chocolate chip brownies are awesome for 90 calories - and you get the benefit of the fiber with it!
  • I'm all for "scruff" as I like to call it, DEFINITELY. Hubby says it is a pain to maintain, but he loves me so he does it :)
  • I had only lost 2 lbs in two months after losing at a steady pace from January to May. I've been running more and with the same fear everyone has of upping their calories, I did it anyway. I first went from 1530 to 1790 then to 1970 and finally this past week I went to 2130 cals/day. Woohoo! I lost two pounds in the past…
  • I like the carb conscious ones with pretzels or the caramel. They are high calorie, so I only eat half at a time. I also like chocolate peanut chip power bars. Not real concerned about them being "bad" for me; I could be eating a lot worse - like a peanut butter meltaway or cupcake. I have a problem eating the right amount…
  • I would recommend picking up a good book to read and try forgetting about the obsession with food for a bit. Getting wisdom teeth pulled isn't the end of the world; sounds like you're stressing over something that will be over with in a week, give or take. When I had mine out, my husband brought me a single serving of soft…
  • Coke Zero is my goto drink. I was a diet coke fan, then it started making me sick, I switched to regular Coke which is soooo yummy, but wanted rid of the calories. I switched to coke zero and it makes me happy. I don't get sick from it like I was from diet coke. BUT I only let myself drink it after I get at least 48 oz of…
  • sounds so good
  • I have the same problem so I avoid jeans that say "low waist" or "ultra low waist". Also, junior size jeans usually do not come up as high as misses sizes.
  • VERY impressive!!! You look great!!!
  • Hi Cindy, After I had my daughter and had started losing weight - down 25 lbs when I had the surgery - I ended up having hernia repair for five hernia's in my stomach. Needless to say, my entire stomach is a "mesh mess". I was not allowed to drive for three weeks and was off work for eight weeks not being allowed to lift…
  • I've had my FT4 since February, using it pretty much everyday and sometimes twice a day. A month ago, I had the same problem you are having so I ordered a new strap off Amazon. All was good til the other day when I noticed my heart rate dropping sometimes to 0 while running. Then if I'd start walking while cussing at the…
  • I have been taking zumba for 30-35 minutes three days a week in a class since February, I push hard and the most I have burned during that period is 238 cals per my HRM. I'm upset because the instructor has made up all new routines in the past two weeks and I am now only burning around 113 cals for that same time frame…
  • Amazing job! Congrats to your sucess!!!
  • Thanks for this... I didn't think I'd ever laugh again after the day I've had at work.. I sooo needed this, all you Hulksters have made my day :)
  • Congrats on your weight loss and keep up the great work!!
  • Hello. 6 of 7 days a week I use either a hungry girl flatout sandwich thin or any 100 cal or less thin (sometimes a small wrap if I don't have the sandwich thins). I toast it with half slice of 2% Kraft american cheese and cook four organic brown egg whites to put on it. Low cal and very filling! Sometimes I'll put a…
  • I set my first alarm for 4 am, second one at 4:20 and get my breakfast & lunch ready to take to work & give my body time to adjust to being up. I try to be outside and start running around 4:45 a.m. and run anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Then come home and get somewhat cooled before getting a shower and heading to work for…
  • What a great way to start the day - congrats to you!
  • I've been running almost 3 months now; my legs have always been muscular, but I am loving the way they are changing shape - along with the rest of me. I haven't lost a pound in almost a month, but I have dropped another jean size and top size in that month. I, too, cannot imagine how you would gain 10 lbs of muscle so…
  • I was married 17 years and had a daughter; I was NOT going to change my name when my entire adult life that's who I was. When I got remarried and changed my last name, it caused confusion everywhere with my daughter's school, doctor's offices, etc. However, I do get the disrespectful part because my husband was married…
  • I have been using the Polar FT4 since February and I love it. I just bought a second chest strap for it so I don't have to schedule my morning/evening workouts around whether it's dry or not. it's great for cardio - I';ve heard not so much for strength training but the closest experience I have for that is doing 30DS and…

  • Make sure you put your current weight, etc into your HRM to make sure it is accurate. I adjust my weight every time I lose, too.
  • Vitamin D Calcium Magnesium Zinc Baby aspirin Fish oil (when I remember to buy it) I alternate Vitamin C, A, and E All per my doctor - the magnesium helps my migraines so I don't have to take my maxalt mlt as often
  • You're doing great - keep it up!
  • I am 75% done with the first book and I'm loving it! I look for used books on amazon and ebay.
  • I had one removed from the edge of my left wrist in 2010 - it was growing and was hurting me to type or do anything. The surgery was easy, but I had to wear a brace up to my elbow for two weeks & that was as painful as the cyst was.
  • You are a definite inspiration!!! You look great and I am so impressed with the mud run!!! Yah for you!!
  • YES worth it! Even walking briskly I can burn 130 calories in 30 minutes; running about 240 or zumba around 190. Take advantage of 30 minutes and work hard! My experience with 30 Day Shred is it's actually 27 minutes from start to finish and a great workout!
