My nephew when he was roughly about 5 or 6 was playing tag in the front yard with my mom when he ran around behind a tree and yelled to her "Bring it on wrinkles!" I nearly wet myself! We have a tradition of saying "see ya later alligator", "after while crocodile", and "see ya soon ya big baboon" in our family.... my…

My favorite way is with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, chocolate protein powder, and half a banana. Add ice and blend into a smoothie. Freaking amazing dessert in a glass! There are also lots of recipes that you can find to use it for baking, fruit dips, etc.

Absolutely.... also -You know what Fry sauce is -You can easily get to a camping spot within 20-30 minutes -You still refer to the Delta Center when talking about the Utah Jazz -You get a good buzz off 1 beer any time you travel out of the state because it's high point -Wendover is a get away destination -People ask "which…

I would say you need to just confront her about it. Let her know how much you value the freindship and how much her lack of support hurts you. If she really is a good friend, she will admit her fault and try to be more supportive. You can encourage her to take the journey with you. Maybe she really does want to lose weight…

I just want to say thank you to everyone giving their opinions. Some very good points being made and also some good advice. On my lunch break today, I happened to be reading the news and was floored by this article. You would think as a victim, he would be the one saying spare no cost.... test them all!…

While I understand what you are saying, let me clarify what I mean. I am not stating all attackers will attack no matter what. Some can be deterred or with help change their behaviors, but there are those out there that will attack no matter what. If one person is not an accessable target, another may be. Does this make…

Get a second opinion from another physician if you are concerned.

I am so sorry to read your story. God bless you!

Exactly my point! I believe there is no wrong answer when talking about ways to prevent. Protecting ourselves, knowledge, talking about it, creating harsher punishment for offenders, reporting the crimes and pursuing legal action, taking a stand are all great ways to aide in prevention. We will never be 100% free of…

I am not disagreeing with either of you at all. I am not saying that being aware, trained in self defense, etc would prevent attacks all together. I would never ever say that without these tools a victim has a role in responsibilty. I am simply saying that it may give us more of an edge in prevention. An attacker is going…

Absolutely! I think the point though is that we have to do our best to protect ourselves as well. Knowledge is part of prevention.

You are right on!
-
Sorry that you are a victim, glad to see you use the word SURVIVOR! You make a very good point! Thank you!

Incredible!

You are absolutely right. One of the numbers that they brought up was that 1 in every 33 men is a victim of sexual assult. I am so sorry that you are one of those and I hope that you can find the help you need to live a happy life. God bless you!
-
I agree that way to often, the victim is somehow made out to be responsible for the attack. This makes me so angry. Even if the person has a troubled past, or dresses provocatively or has a few drinks, that does NOT mean they encouraged an attack to happen.
-
You are a true hero!
-
This is actually one thing that was discussed a lot. Being aware of your surroundings. having a wingman to look out for you, etc. One point I want to make however, is that it is NOT the fault of the victim no matter the situation.

I think self defense classes are a great start!

Favorite is Bill Cosby hands down but I also really like Dane Cook, Eddie Murphy, Enrique Iglesias, Bill Engval, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Dunham and several others.

My personal opinion tells me that he is using you for what HE needs. You are not getting anything out of the friendship. I have been in this position before and my advice is to cut him loose, boost yourself up, and find friends that are really worth your time and money! It's easy to get caught up in a relationship or…
