I started keto on January 8 and am loving it. Hard for a few days going through carb withdrawl but now I love that I'm not constantly craving junk. It's a very satisfying way of eating. I hear ya on the desk job! I sit on my butt most everyday from 7:30am-5:00pm. It sucks! I lost a lot of weight before but gained a bunch back. It's hard starting over but I plan to kill it this year! I'm sure you will too! :)

Also - it can be overwhelming to think about having to lose 100 pounds. Break it into smaller increments and I wouldn't put a time limit on it. Lose 10 pounds then focus on the next 10. It will all add up before you know it.

Hey there! I’m back on MFP too. I started 6 years ago and did lose a lot of weight but have gained some back. Started my journey again a week ago. I do so much better when I plan/track my meals. I am doing the keto diet right now but would still love to connect and to keep each other motivated!

I am a morning exverciser and I do not eat before. There are benefits to excercising on an empty stomach, and it can be hard on the body to digest food during excercise. If you feel you truly need something before hand keep it light (a banana or apple and a few nuts).

Hard boiled eggs, carrot sticks (plain or with hummus), slices of cucumber with a wedge of Laughing Cow spread on them, fruit, low fat string cheese, raw/unsalted nuts and seeds. Those are some of my favs.....good luck!
