Eat it raw with milk.

There were nearly 100 people out on the ride but most of them would not be on here as they are of the racing snake phisique.

Rain is not a problem with the right clothes. I just will NOT cycle on ice. The rest you can deal with. rather than getting a spin bike, get a turobo trainer to mount your road bike on much cheaper and you keep your position correct. with a greater range of resistances etc. I use mine in icy conditions, but find it…

I would get a road bike (another road bike  ). Sorry not much help, but I like the scenery to change while I am working out.

I think that it is due to how digestible a food is, if a food is easy to digest there is a spike in the blood glucose, and when this has no more glucose to digest, the insulin triggers a hunger response to get more to work on. This is the Glycemic Index of foods and seems to work for me keeping to the lower values.

A long bike ride (60 - 100 miles) will drop my heart rate down even further so that RHR for a couple of days after the ride will be high 30's. Doc is very pleased and is reducing my meds as I lose weight. edited to add that I have had a heart problem and have a couple of stents fitted. (the main spur to loseing the weight)
-
Very GOOD I started at 83 RHR and now low 40's I had to laugh when i was last in hospital as they had to disconnect the heart rate alarm from my monitors as it was always going off. I got a couple of the staff members interested in cycling as that is my exercise of choice.

Yes it does. I am an endurance cyclist and do NOT want big muscles as they will use to much energy so the 12 - 14 hours on the bike would not be possible I would run out of energy. I want strong muscles that will power me for the whole day. I was doing up to 3 X 40 curls with 5kg, as an example, and need to get back into…

I quit 40 ish years ago and was one of the best things I have ever done, You will not regret giving up, only that you smoked for so long.
-
2 Stents for me and I do not want any more. Some of the drugs give me a hard time so by dropping weight I hope to reduce the amount I have to take. The stents mean that I will never be off them completely but I want to drop the amount.
-
To help with the smoking, NOT a lecture. I have not touched tobacco in 40 years, before that I was on 80+ per day plus a pipe in the evenings. I carried an open pack with me all the time to prove that I was giving up because "I wanted to" and not because "I had not got any". This was way before all the modern help, patches…

There is also a pack of toasted oatbran, I do not like that as much as the raw.
-
We all do on occasions, it is just averaged out over time. Move on and eat a little less today.
-
There is also a paper pack same colour and cheaper. I love it added to other cereals. Also added to regular porridge oats for a slightly different tast and texture.

Bump for later
