  • head to the library and check out the cookbooks:)
  • It sounds to me like you found your maintenance level. Drop off a 100 calories a day or so and see if it helps.
  • It is not likely the most healthy way to eat, however, if you are truly eating at those calorie levels and not losing perhaps you are not accurately counting calories and may be eating more than you think.
  • I got my Garmin for christmas :) kd_mazur, please add
  • Unfortunately, I found that announcing "I'm a single mom" also attracts a few creepers. I met a guy for coffee and we really hit it off. I was going to see him again. I came to my senses the following day and searched his name...bingo! registered sex offender. His offense was related to children:/
  • During out first meeting all of the questions were related to a long term relationship. Did I think we were meant to be together? Did I see us getting married and having children? would he need to adopt my daughter? After I get to know someone, these questions would be endearing but on a first lunch date it was a little…
  • The YMCA near me has aqua aerobics classes. Maybe you can something like that, it would be easy on the joints
  • Water activities might be good. It will take the stress off your joints. Walking is always great exercise. Small improvements will lead to long term improvements. The fact is you didn't put the weight on over night and you won't take it off overnight either.
  • you might consider following the pattern of the program and just spreading it out into a longer program. This way you get the benefits of using all of the excerises but you will still be able to fit your other program in.
  • Whenever I buy produce at the store, I bring it home and immediately cut it up and portion it in smaller containers. This might help with the time crunch if all you have to do is grab and go.
  • Perhaps you could plan your day rather than to fill in the log at the end of the day. I log everything each morning that I plan to eat. the log can always be edited later if plans change.
  • I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. It happened to me too:(
  • I love Warrior Dash! We typically bring garbage bags to cover the seats of the vehicle on the way home. I would def bring a change of shoes and socks. The course is challenging but not crazy difficult and if you don't feel like you are up to the obstacle, you can usually just go around it.
  • I just finished week 7. I also havn't lost much weight in this process but I have lost a couple inches. I googled it actually because I was concerned. I found that many women don't lose much while doing insanity. I like the workout and I am going to complete the program. I would take the previous poster's advice and make…
  • I typically say, "Thank you, I have been working really hard at it"
  • Get a pair of running/walking shoes and hit the road:) You may also find many workout DVDs at your local library. Test drive a few different workouts and see what you like. If you don't like doing it...chances are you won't.
  • just get dressed to work out. I find that if i can just get ready for the gym or a home workout I will be more likely to just get it done. If I can come up with an excuse (my workout clothes are all the way upstairs...*whine*) I won't do it.
  • losing weight and pregnancy don't really mix. unless you are working out so hard as to effect ovulation you should be fine. Most Drs will suggest working out during pregnancy. They suggest one not start a new program but anything you are doing pre prego should be fine. Above all, listen to your body
  • Is it possible?...maybe. Is it healthy?...maybe. Will he keep it off...maybe
  • I'm still hanging in there. I completed day 34 today. I am almost through the recovery week and a little nervous to start the second month on Wednesday
  • I believe there is a way to hide people from your news feed. I don't remember how but I'm sure you can google it. Anyway, I had a friend who posted those little inspirational or funny pictures and it was driving me nuts so I hid her. Now I still am her friend on fb just don't have to scroll through all the junk:)
  • At what pace are you trying to lose? If you selected 1lb or 2lbs per week that might be to aggressive for you since you are close to your goal. Try 1/2 lb a week and see what happens.
  • I completed Pure Cardio/abs Day 26 today:) Almost done with the first month!
  • Head to your local library and see what they have to offer. Mine has a very wide variety of DVDs. Many exercise books have a plan associated with it too. Find one you like and try it out...if you hate it take it back and try again:)
  • sounds to me like she doesn't do mornings. Maybe suggest the workout for the evening as you did with swimming?
  • Rest, ice, compression, elevate. I have been there. I did one calf muscle jumping in volleyball and the other a year later playing softball. Unfortunately, you can't rush the healing process and trying to push it may end up setting you back further. Watch your diet for a few weeks and maybe by W4 or 5 you will be able to…
  • are you sure you can get it through the security check point? Maybe just eat before heading the the airport?
  • I visited my chiropractor who suggested ice therapy each night and strengthening my core. She showed me some stretches and exercises to help.
  • I am on Day 5 today:) Add away
