pick a program you can find online or on DVD. Make time to check in with each other every evening to hold the other person accountable.

I agree with those who say to pick the time that fits. I was always an afternoon/evening exerciser but as my children have grown and become more involved with evening activities I find it more stressful to fit it in at the end of a long day. In Aug, I started getting up an hour earlier, which in reality, is just getting up…

Taking pictures may help you see the difference or take some measurements of waist, hips, arms, etc. Are your clothes fitting better?

search for strength training under the cardio section. The strength section in the free version is intended to keep track of the reps not the calories. Entering strength training will estimate the calories based on your current weight recorded.
-
you could split the time up and log some as strength and some as cardio.

do you have a cheat day? Maybe you are wiping out the deficit by the cheat day.

Steamer packs of frozen veggies have become a staple in my house. I like broccoli, cauliflower, & carrots. They take a few minutes in the microwave. Next, I empty the bag onto a cookie sheet and bake for a few more minutes. This gets rid of the additional moisture that sometimes occurs in frozen veggies. I can often eat a…

how many calories do you have left?

I wanted one and so I bought it:) I have had it for a few weeks now and I really like it. I had a Forerunner 220 and the vivoactive3 replaced that item. I like having all the data that I didn't have with my forerunner.
-
That would change from person to person. Some could lose 10 lbs and have a slimmer waist, others may lose the same 10 lbs and lose inches from hips or thighs. It just depends on the person.

https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/571520 I just bought at Vivoactive 3, I like it so far. Previously I had the forerunner 220 and this was the replacement for that watch. It is water resistant to 5atm and will record steps, sleep patterns, and exercise among other things.

I run because I enjoy it... also, pancakes and beer:)

I agree that 2T of peanut butter isn't much, however, if you are not losing on 1200 it will not improve by eating more. Take a hard look at your logging. Are you taking a cheat day? are you restricting yourself so much that you binge later? My best guess is that you are eating more than you think and are actually at a…

If you are having trouble with milk production you may be cutting back too much. Be patient with yourself and maybe talk to a lactation counselor, they may be able to help you determine how many calories you should be eating.

Just get started! I would just make a short term plan with some goals. for example, just for today, I will meet my 1400 cal goal and take a walk around the block. tomorrow there is a new goal, I will meet my calorie goal and go for a bike ride. Baby steps will get you to the end goal as long as you just keep progressing.

Soreness is normal when you start a new program. I often workout even when I am sore. If there is sharp pain (like a potential injury) I would continue to rest. If this is just muscle soreness I would at least try to battle through but I would choose something with a little less impact like walking, yoga or stretching.

online dating is tough. I had quite a few frogs before I found a nice guy. Background checks and google are your friend.

i work out on my lunch breaks. Often I walk or run outside.

I'm in the same boat. I use my lunch hour to workout at the gym down the street and then just eat at my desk in the afternoon.

There are certain items that I just don't buy anymore. If there is ice cream in the freezer, I want it all. If there is candy in the pantry, I want it all. If I have a really strong craving for one of these items I have to get my butt in the car to go get it. If you are unable to control yourself around some items, just…

I agree, juicing really just takes out the fiber.

If your sodium is low, it can cause cramps. However, people with high blood pressure are often told 1500mg is the max. I think if you don't have a medical condition and are not experiencing cramps or other symptoms, just ignore the sodium.
