  • I would LOVE advice on how many, in what size, etc. I have seen a ton of them online that are used (but clean) for affordable prices and I have to think that it's better than going disposable on the wallet (not to mention the environment) and the kid's lil' tushy.
  • After two days my migrane FINALLY went away! Keeping my lights off in the office to make sure it stays away! I'm glad you're feeling better today!
  • I would like to do cloth diapers, at least at home. We won't be able to have anyone be at home full time and most daycares don't do cloth diapers. I am going to try to work from home two days a week (I currently work from home one day a week) and then my mom wants to start telecommuting one day as well, so the kid will…
  • Welcome Sarah!
  • Mine aren't NEARLY to this level of ... unusual I like popcorn with spray (I can't Believe it's not Butter) and Old Bay Seasoning I like Sour Patch candies mixed into Chex Mix I like Kalamata olives with just about ANYTHING
  • This was my thought too
  • Don't worry, most people in other countries know how to speak English :)
  • Keeping some snacks on your bedside table like crackers is supposed to help as well, gives your stomach something to work on before you get out of bed to keep the hibbidygibbits away. Of course as this is my first go-round I don't have much first hand knowledge to share!
  • put them in a strainer and wash wash wash. They have no natural flavor so I usually boil them in a sauce for a couple minutes so they actuall TASTE like something :) I like them as replacements for noodles in soups and sphagetti.
  • Meet my one-day-GREAT grandchildren (that will ensure longevity to do everything else I want to do) Raise my eventual children to be good and decent people Never purposefully hurt anyone Visit every continent Start a rescue dog kennel Sell a piece of art Meet Bruce Willis That sounds like a good start :)
  • I think you chose the right place to vent (disregarding all the people who responded with unasked for advice or judgemental posts). If any group of people knows the value of healthy eating, healthy information, and the good that having a loving person in a child's life can be it's this group (at least ones who may not have…
  • I have two adopted pups: a 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier and a 3 year old Aussie Shepherd-Poodle mix. They keep me active!
  • Yay another October baby! We'll all have halloween themed baby showers
  • I'm telling on Easter weekend too!
  • We had already scheduled a beach vacation for September when I'll be 8 months! Thank goodness there's a pool there
  • Me too! I keep watching YouTube videos of ultrasounds to tide me over! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xd_U6AAEMjE
  • I'm at 8 weeks 4 days! We will have close due dates!
  • Yay I'm so excited for you! We have the same due date! My appointment isn't until April 4th to see the lil' one but knowing that you could see that much now makes me so much more excited for my appointment!
  • I had that same thought! I was relieved to hear that my test was "Very" positive :) even thought I KNEW that I was pregnant it was good to have the additional info from the doctor!
  • Forgot to add, I also am a bottomless pit in the morning (I have to eat almost constantly until about noon) and then I'm overly full all afternoon! How wierd is that? :ohwell:
  • I customized the settings by figureing out my maintenance calories and then will add the recommended increase as the different trimesters approach. I believe I have an extra 200 on there now.
  • I'm exhausted! This is my first so I don't even have other munchkins to worry about and I still want to take a nap in the middle of the day :) Unfortunately (or fortunately?) my office has a glass wall so no sneaking a nap for me! I've been going to be at 9pm the last week or so. Then at night I'm getting up two to three…
  • "Plane" If there are not enough seats on a plane I think there's something SERIOUSLY wrong with the airline. What people do to be nice and what they're expected to do is completely different. It's nice that someone gave up a first class seat to someone in the military, but I wouldn't expect anyone to do that.
  • Not to put to fine a point on it but I said "usually" not "always". He lumped all women together as only "wanting" to be equal and then expecting men to give up their seats (which from at least the small representation that has responded here is incorrect). I stand by my statement that 1. it's usually men who are the ones…
  • I don't "want to be equal" I AM equal. I find it's usually men who expect other men to give up their seats for women, so leave us out of your little "pissy" tirade. I would never expect it and I wouldn't take it if offered (I would politely thank them and decline). I have an hour and a half bus ride to and from work…
  • Depends on what you're set to, I'm assuming it's not 1200 because if you'd only eaten 200 by now over the course of two meals + snacks and beverages (it's 4pm my time no idea about yours) then I don't believe you if you say you're not hungry :) If you're set to 2000 then maybe they're too high.
  • Bash your head against it
  • 1. I think it's hilarious that MFP bleeped out Richard Van *kitten*'s first name  2. I wish I had the cajones to ask my boss to telecommute two days a week 3. I hate being late to things and I married a chronic tardy man...so then I don't want to blame him to our friends so we end up getting "stuck in traffic" a LOT
