I ended up using my camera phone close-up and avoided a glare to get it. My mom needed a picture IMMEDIATELY lol

That's what I was figuring for me, I was still on a restricted 1200-1400 calories a day when I got pregnant so when I increased back to maintenance BAM, weight!

P90X has a 15 minute Ab workout and they insist that you do NOT do it everyday.

Anatomy scan done, everything looks great. He (yep confirmed he's a boy so we don't have to return all those clothes  ) is measuring about a week ahead. Makes sense since his Dad is 6'2" and i'm 5'9", he's gonna be a lanky boy! I go back for my third trimester scan in 8 more weeks!

I agree with going to www.meetups.com. You can find groups with common interests (age, occupation, location, hobby, etc.) which means you'll already have SOMETHING in common with the people when you show up. The first meetup is always wierd but after that it gets better :drinker:

I just started my childbirth classes (I'm only 20 weeks) because they filled up fast. I'm the earliest in the class but I don't have any difficulty standing up, getting down on the floor, moving around, etc. so I think I'm glad we are going this early. Makes it a lot more comfortable!

www.diaperjungle.com has a rating of which detergents are the best for diapers :)

I'm at 19wks 4days and up around 12lbs or so depending on the day. I'm weighing about three pounds heavier at the doctor's office from clothes, shoes, etc. but they used the starting weight that I inputted from my home scale so they're showing me at 15lbs up!

My first childbirth class is tomorrow night! There are four weeks of it, hope it's entertaining :)

dq and jls - good points! the primary goal is definitely going to be staying healthy! How about we all stay motivating post-baby but do a more gradual return to the exercise program? I think everyone will be different on what they feel comfortable with :)

It's a set of workout videos from Beach Body company - I got mine previously owned (they are EXPENSIVE brand new) http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/p90x.do http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml Those are the two programs I'll be using post-pregnancy! After I complete those two...I guess we'll…

Not sure, I've done a couple of challenges on here but wanted to get a consensus on what people were thinking. I want to definitely do P90X (since it takes 90 days and that's how many I'll have at home!) and maybe even Couch to 5K as well. I love the idea of being able to run with a stroller in a 10K once the winter is…

I just had to comment because right after this topic "I love..." in my recent topics list is "Colonics"...cracked me up

I put it on the registry...hoping that a couple people pitch in on one! I have gotten most of the other big ticket items off of craigslist :)

That's my plan!

Would anyone be willing to keep going with a weight loss/in-shape challenge post-delivery in October? I plan on breast feeding so won't be able to do any dieting but I definitely want to get back in awesome shape before my maternity leave ends!

I have some pre-folds with Thirsties-ish covers (about 5 covers and at least 20 prefolds since I want to use them as burp clothes too and I didn't know how big my boy is going to be) I have around 10 one-size Fuzzybuns pocket diapers I just got 20+ one-size All in One Bebe d'amour with double inserts Finally, I have around…

I now have my entire stash of diapers courtesy of craigslist to last until the kid is potty-trained and spent a grand total of $300. I still want more though...they're so darn CUTE. Had a conversation with my husband about how easy they are, showed him the flushable liners (so he doesn't have to deal with diapers in the…

jls - I had my check-up yesterday at 18wks 5days and I'm up 14 pounds too :( Doctor said she preferred a 10 pound weight gain at 20 weeks so I'm trying to hold steady for awhile. Trying not to stress about it too much but I want to stay as healthy as possible during the pregnancy!
-
I'm in, already keeping track for a step challenge at work, this will help me win with DOUBLE motivation
-
Check-up today, Doc said that I'm about 4 lbs over what they usually shoot for on weight gain in the first half of the pregnancy but that's still fine...Looks like I'm aiming to be at the top of the "healthy" gain chart. Well that's the trade-off for not having any morning sickness I guess.

I just ran a 5K yesterday in 41 minutes. It doesn't sound very fast I know but I showed up and did it! AND it was faster than the time before and I'm 5 months pregnant :)
