'Somebody That I Used to Know' by Gotye

We picked out the names for boy and girl (it was remarkably easy, I said how about so and so for a boy and so and so for a girl and he said "I like both of those!") but we aren't sharing names until after the birth (family tradition)

Close! Only about two pounds heavy (the Oodle-mix has gotten a haircut since that picture)

I don't even know how tall you are...

You can add individual foods if you do not find them in the database. Once you search for it, at the bottom it will say "not here, add food" or something like that. Then you can add it to the database and use it in the future. Hi Leigh, nice name! It's mine too :)

Whole wheat bagel with yogurt butter and parmesan cheese

I got myself two pairs of belly bands, one in brown and one in black which hide my unbuttoned pants pretty well, it will let me expand the use of my current wardrobe at least another month or so! I highly recommend them.

I use a dijon mustard to glaze the top of the filets (after defrosting), then season wiht taragon and a little salt on top of that. Pre-heat your broiler, put your oven rack at the top of the oven, and then broil the filets for about 7 minutes per inch of thickness. Easy peasy and no need for oil or butter!

Thanks! I get the zulily emails everyday already :) and I love Etsy to figure out things I can make (I'm pretty crafty)

It was offered through my work, so I pay a portion out of my monthly paycheck and so does my company to cover that. It came with the medical insurance, etc. I think there are other private short term insurance companies like Aflac but I'm not sure what they do/do not cover.

I have short term disability to cover the full amount of FMLA leave so I'm going to be taking 12 weeks off work. It will pay 60% of my income. I should also have about two weeks of vacation/holidays saved up that I can take too so I could potentially be at home for about 14 weeks. We're already saving to cover the…

I'm an attorney and work behind a desk all day. Right now I bring my lunch everyday along with a variety of snacks to keep me going through the day.

Part of my side of the family was adopted and my husband has no idea about his father's family history so we thought this would definitely be the safest path!

Exactly what I was thinking

Just started following you! Not sure if I'm having a girl or a boy so good to plan for both :)

My hubby carmelizes down some onions and mushrooms, then boils the sweet potatoes in chunks. He then puts the potatoes and mushroom/onion mix into a food processor and makes a puree with a little fat free cream. SO GOOD

Just got my results back from the 1st trimester genetic screening and good news! I have the lowest possible percentage of having the three tested conditions 1:10,000! That's certainly a relief, it's good to just know. Still getting the second trimester screening as well. I'm a planner and don't really leave anything to…

We're doing the same thing! Have the names for both girl or boy but it's a family tradition (and a bit of superstition) on his side to keep names secret until after the birth. We're going to tell people the baby's sex though :) Waiting until we know that before going onto facebook or internet. So far have just told people…

I just have flavors that I crave (as opposed to actual food items) so I've been TRYING to find less harmful versions of those flavors :) Example - Instead of a chocolate bar - cocoa almonds The one thing I can't get enough of though is popcorn with Old Bay seasoning on it, need to drink a gallon of water because of all the…

Trying to think of anything that my husband and I actively disagree on...maybe whose turn it is to do dishes? I dated someone once that we disagreed on everything (politics, theology, etc.) it was exhausting and boring *edited for typo

Hi 2nd Trimester folks :flowerforyou: Today is day one of the second trimester and I'm feeling great! Had my genetic screening yesterday and everything looked good, have another one at 20 weeks to verify the results and to find out the sex of the lil' kiddo. Glad to be here!

We'll probably end up doing a combination, easier to use disposable when traveling, etc. I've registered for a TON and hopefully can get enough that way but there are also exchanges etc. to get them cheaper. The husband is not totally on board yet but because I get to stay home the first three months I'll have the final…

Bye guys! Today is my last day in the 1st Trimester so tomorrow I'm heading over to the 2nd Trimester group. Can't wait to see you all there!

I had both worlds, I was the only child of my parents but when they divorced I got three step-siblings. It was pretty nice to be an only child. Undivided attention and resources. I wouldn't be able to tell you what it woulda been like to have blood siblings living with me every day. 6 years is a good gap though, one will…

Just got back from my first trimester sonagram screening and bloodtest. Everything looked great, got to see the little kiddo moving around  and they did all the measurements. Had a well developed nose and I could see five little individual fingers on one of its hands. Everything is looking really good and normal, doc…

I heard the test is only about 75-80% successful rate, I think I can make it to 20 weeks just to be sure :)
