I will not drink alcohol during the next 30 days (except for my Valentines brunch next Sunday and the Super Bowl party this Sunday). 4. I will continue my P90X 5. I will be in bed by 10pm…

Sure, you can sign up without either of the other programs, just pick a user name and password on the main site page. I signed up before they had these invite things...so I'm not sure how that works now.

I've only been doing it for two weeks but I also expected to see some more weight loss. I've been below on calories everyday as well (not too low, i.e. don't give me that starvation mode talk) and haven't seen any scale movement. It's a little disheartening although I can tell I'm getting in better shape because I did this…

I don't like my sweet potatoes any sweeter than how they come :) So I tend to nuke them and add a little yogurt spread and kosher salt with either some garlic or Mrs. Dash

Extend your arms straight toward the flywheel, and keep your wrists…

Love it :) I'm in a ton of challenges and tracking groups so hopefully I remember to update them all! (I'm sure I will ;)) Intros for those who don't know me: I'm 30, an attorney, and married with two dogs (one house gnome (Jack Russell named Bixby) and one muppet (Aussie-poo named Sophie)) and I live outside of…

Walked 45 minutes yesterday on my "rest" day from P90X which I have kept up. Starting on Week 2 of P90X today. Been doing well on calories. Was WAY low yesterday because I was traveling and didn't get home until 9 so just went to bed instead of having that late of a dinner. I've snuck a peak at the scale but there wasn't a…

I'm in :) I don't think I'll be able to hit 10lbs but everything helps!

Couch to 5K for the training would work fine. I'll be seeing ya'll at the Boston race in May :)

I'd already factored Saturday as being high-cal (went to a wedding reception and we all ended up at the bar). Back into working out now that we're back at the house. Have a work trip tomorrow through wednesday but there's a gym so I'll try and stick to the schedule.

I tend not to group ALL of anyone who does anything. Some may like getting looked at, others may not be able to do exercises as well if they're encumbered by baggy clothes or maybe they get too hot when running, etc. to have a bunch of clothes on, or maybe they expect people to mind their own and not think that wearing a…

So far so good, staying under calories. 1/17 - Treadmill 45 minutes 1/18 - P90X 1/19 - Going to P90X again and maybe do some walking on the treadmill as well since I've got wings on the schedule for dinner tonight. Haven't had any alcohol, I've taken my vitamins like a good girl and haven't gotten on the scale!

I don't really eat fruit, juice maybe? As for veggies I love em, eat a salad or two every day, love stirfry, etc.

There are often food banks that you can sign up for, pick a local church and call and ask, if they don't do it then they may be able to point you to one that does. That will at least get you some canned veggies and additional nutrients! You can usually sign up for a box a month at least and that would do wonders for you.

So far so good! Did 45 minutes on the treadmill yesterday and just re-started P90X this morning. I need to have a snack...should we re-list our goals in the group threads?

(1) I won't weigh-in until February 6th to see the overall progress and focus less on the scale (2) I will treadmill 3 times a week, rowing machine 2 days a week and do a workout video 2 days a week (3) I will eliminate alcohol from my diet other than Saturday evenings (Saturday will be my allowed high cal day) (4) I will…

Bag of frozen veggies and boneless skinless chicken breasts with a little soy sauce for an easy stirfry. I always have ground turkey in the freezer for tacos. Sweet potatoes go in the microwave for 7 minutes for an easy good-for-you side to baked chicken or fish. Ton of fresh veggies for a quick salad with precooked…

Yes! I eventually saw a nuerologist who eliminated causes like tumor or stroke. We ended up with a list of "triggers" after keeping a headache journal for a couple of months. There are lists of common foods that trigger complex migranes of various sizes. If you notice that you eat/encounter one of those triggers before the…
