^^^This. Also, if you haven't already, put a routine together. I'm sure someone here can steer you in the right direction for a good routine.

A woman can most certainly do the same routine as a man. The weight is the only difference in most cases. My wife and I are doing the stronglifts5x5 routine, although she modified hers a bit. You start out light and progress slowly to heavy weights.

Wish I could help, but I don't have a clue about eating gluten free meals. If you're not already lifting weights, you should. Lifting heavy with low reps is one way to go. Do a search for "lifting heavy" and you'll see a lot of threads.

I agree on this whole statement.

In bulking you eat more than your daily goal, to gain muscle (but gain a little fat too). In cutting you eat at a deficit from your daily goal to lose fat (but keep the musle you've gained by still working out).

41 here too and I felt the same way about feeling old. Working on feeling like I'm 22.

Big chocolate fan myself. Occasionally, when I want some, in most cases, a glass of low fat milk with a tablespoon of chocolate powder, can help.

She loves doing the routine. The squats alone have been very beneficial. She had great legs before and she's improving on that.

I believe it's something like "Rules of Lifting for Women". Somebody will verify. My wife is doing "Stronglifts5x5" and she likes it a lot. Only thing she does different is add weight every week rather than every workout.

Any physical activity?

There's a lot of sugary snacks in your diary. Instead of the muffins, cut up a few different fruits and mix it with your yogurt. Instead of chocolate covered almonds, go for plain raw almonds. You'll be able to have more to fill up without the extra calories from the chocolate.

Nothing wrong with living it up at a wedding. As long as you get back to you're normal routine, you'll be fine.

...same here

Has something to do with the benefits of the cocoa bean. I don't recall exactly what that is.

^this. I personally prefer compound exercises with the barbell, but dumbells are a good start.

I usually eat two 4oz filetes since its low cal. I'm going to try it your way. Sounds good.

Oven baked Tilapia. If you buy a bag of individually wrapped tilapia, the bag usually has the temp and time to bake. Thaw the Tilapia, then lightly drizzle with olive oil, a pinch of salt and pepper. You can also throw in some vegetables in a separate container, like asparagus or squash and zucchini. Same seasoning as with…

I usually go for water first and maybe tea, if that doesn't work then I'll go for a fruit or cold glass of milk. Most cases, the water is all I need. I used to eat baby carrots and sliced cucumbers with lemon juice on them, but that got old after some time.

I eat slightly above my daily goal on heavy lifting days and at a deficit on the days in between. This has helped me stay within the same weight while gaining muscle and losing fat.
-
No, you don't have to be sore. I used to think this too, but as of late I'm finding that I can still build muscle without being sore.

He should be ok, if he uses light weight for now. I wouldn't start lifting more until he's 15 and then heavy until, at least 17. He should learn the proper technique. Two or three times a week is all he would need.

P.S. Unless you're adding other things in your protein shake, I wouldn't really count it as a meal.
-
If you have time to eat something after your workout, that would be best. I work out in the mornings too, but don't have time to sit down and eat anything, so I have a protein shake right after my workouts. Then on my way to work I'll grab a steak egg and cheese sandwich from Subway, and eat it before starting work. It's…

I've got mine set to 40C/30P/30F. It's a reasonable setting, and it's working for me.

Turf shoes are a great idea too. I had some Addidas a few years back had pretty good grip. The area for the toes wasn't as firm though.
-
If you can't finish all the reps, you should definitely bring the weight down to something you can work with. You can slowly add from there. You have to work with what's comfortable for you not your trainer.

Nike5 Bomba's are pretty good shoes. The cleats are smaller therefore, more comfortable on firm ground. P.S. Not sure if they make them for women.
-
You did good. Always ask for help when you need it. In most cases, they'll be glad to do so. Great job on the squats.

90% lean ground sirloin with california style steamed vegetables.

Light Balsamic Vinaigrette is great.
