Bro, do you even burden of proof?

Further adding, as I had some more thoughts: Well, technically, you surprised yourself with how little the scale moved up after a binge, correct? So IS your theory really being proven correct? If the scale went up further, even after a low day, it's most likely just water retention... and in my experience, eating more than…

Ah, that's a bummer. I'm glad you've sought help, but yes, to help you clarify: your eating behaviors are bizarre to anyone without an ED. As others have said, perhaps look into specific clinics or counselors in your area that are catered to EDs; EDs often require someone who specializes in them.

What, no Coast to Coast?!

Wait, how long did you microwave the apple?

Please post said peer-reviewed studies.

Who is being rude? The people giving silly answers are doing so because she DID ask for non-traditional advice. As for your last bit... yeah, people will preach thermodynamics to you all day, but if you do throw in certain disorders, things legitimately get screwy, and this is coming from a very objective, "science or die"…

I like to do a quick peruse over people's profiles and post history, as often one or two posts from someone don't give us the full picture. If you're not tracking calories, and thinking you're somehow making out in the deficit calorie by drinking straight walnuts over "dairy calories," then perhaps you should look into…

Wow, this is a bit horrifying. I understand the love/hate with your ED. I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who didn't also have positive feelings of their ED sometimes, even in recovery. That being said--you're really, truly potentially hurting both your baby and yourself by remaining undernourished. It's good…

IT'S STILL AUGUST.

Stop.

That's not how facts work.

Is there a way you could talk with a professional? A counselor or therapist? These feelings, coupled with your post history, is a bit concerning. I'm very glad to see you're no longer restricting, but the unfortunate part of disordered eating (or a full blown ED) is the thought lingering. And the fact that you are feeling…

I've used it. It's been fine so far. Just keep in mind that a great price can get jacked up to hotel prices if another person travels with you. I've had one deal go kaput when someone suddenly had to "move"... The sharing bathroom can be fine if you luck out and get an Airbnb where you never see the other person.

Sometimes I hate this place.

Don't be scared! The good news is that more recent studies have found that you actually CAN lose fat cells... but it takes years of maintaining a lower weight before these cells eventually go away. Also, so glad someone bumped this. I had forgotten all about that classic MFPism on page 1.

I work from home about half of the week (in the office the other half). I just work out early in the morning or on "lunch," just as I do if I'm in the office. I also have a standing desk at home, so "sitting on my bum" isn't a thing that keeps me from getting up and working out.

What do you honestly expect to get as an answer? People gain muscle in a surplus. You don't track religiously. You're insisting you "know what you eat." Substitute the "I keep getting big from lifting" to "I don't know why I'm gaining weight!" and you'd get the same answers. I'd add that, outside of the very real issue of…

Based on what happens to me after eating two of them, I'll believe their fiber claims.

What shows are you watching? There's been a few I've seen where the person being filmed dies.

100% this. All the world's a stage, and Facebook is like that stage in the park where the homeless guy always performs.

Uh, adolescence is another name for young adulthood/teenage years. An eight year old is not an adolescent--they are a child.

What, she's too old to be upset at this major life change after what sound like some years of stress for her? She's too upset to be trying to cope in ways that someone without a not fully developed brain is likely to do? Her taking to cold medicine as a sleep aide is also concerning and potentially dangerous if she gets…

Why is an "18" year old with 1lb to lose eating 1200 calories?

How do you feel about a toaster oven? Personally, I've been without a functioning kitchen for... awhile. I wish I had somewhere to cook. I don't even use a crockpot because it doesn't fit under our kitchen sink. A toaster oven and microwave is good for "don't even worry about it cooking," especially since toaster ovens can…

GOAT CHEESE DONUTS?!

Rolls from having babies? Giiiirl  I think you're confusing that ab definition for them! (But I am glad I'm not the only one who scars from mosquito bites). Thanks for sharing! Interested to see more interviews in the future.

You could try averaging the number between the two, going with the lower number, etc. Ultimately, the best way to find out which number to use is by being patient and seeing how you are after ~6 weeks. Everything takes time to see results. As for the 2 lb weight gain--yup, totally retention. Unless you were eating…

I literally wouldn't have to dig through your posts to form an opinion on you based just on this response. Unfortunately, you sound like someone who will misinterpret any text said to her, and perhaps that's why no one has responded to your posts. In fact, you might soon prefer that people not respond to you based on the…

Oh absolutely, sizing changes between brands (and definitely between US to UK to various Euro or Japanese brands), but there's far too many women still stuffing themselves into 36Bs when they should be 32FFs, etc., so it's a good method to at least get properly fitted/measure yourself and go from there! I'm in the same…
