58... it says I have BDD, I do not have BDD, my body IS actually that bad :P BDD is for people who see their body in a way that is not true. I see the truth!

I just started on Synthroid about 3 weeks ago (I was on it for a bit about 6-7 years ago, but I was borderline and stopped taking it), and the biggest differences are (tmi!) that I don't need such a high fibre diet to get my digestive system moving, and that I'm not absolutely freezing cold all of the time! Oh, and also, I…

:( I am so sorry, that is one of the worst things anyone can experience.

This.

Yeah, my suicidal ideation comes back really easily if something goes particularly wrong. I'm trying to use CBT to stop that automatic thought association. That being said, before meds it did not matter at all if things happening were good or bad or neutral, everything made me wish for death, so this is a vast improvement!

This times a million!

It doesn't work for everyone. I was working out almost every day quite hard, and I fell into a moderate-severe depression where I was constantly thinking about suicide and planning when and how I would do it, writing letters and having feelings of 100% hopelessness and failure and spent a good deal of my time sleeping or…

The first time I regained the weight, I was put on Depakote (I think that was the name) and gained 80lbs back in a couple of months. It was so difficult, and definitely did NOT help my mental health. I am currently med free and doing alright, but considering going back on Wellbutrin as that was the only med I took that…

I'm 5'6.5" and 216lbs, 29 years old, and on my HRM it said 267, but I usually take 75% of that, so I log it at about 200 calories.

I chose my weight because I have lost weight before. The first time I lost weight I was 260lbs at highest and had chosen 180lbs as a goal because I didn't feel I wanted to be "thin" just smaller than I was. I got to 180 and was not happy, chose 150. I got to 150 and still wasn't happy, chose 125-130. I never got that far…

The only thing other than surgery that I have ever heard may work, is to get your body fat percentage extremely low, because even though it is mostly skin, there is probably a very thin layer of fat that prevents the skin from shrinking. That being said, it sounds like a load of horse crap, but I read it on a website of a…

I don't eat 1200, though I have in the past, but I commend you for your excellent, caring, well thought out post. I cannot stand the people who are disrespectful to people who don't do things exactly as they do. I read every word of your post and think it was very well said.

Too fun! I want in!

I can start Monday!

If you are using any sort of calculator to determine what calories to eat (whether to lose weight, gain weight or maintain), you have to input your weight. Also to get closer calorie burns on exercise, weight matters too. A person who wants to lose weight at 300lbs and someone who wants to lose it at 150lbs have to eat…

- If you eat a lot less fat, or a lot less frequently, you can develop gallstones (happened after the first time I lost weight) as less eating fatty foods means less emptying of your gallbladder and it all sits there and has time to crystallize. - You will almost for certain have some saggy skin if you had a lot to lose.…

I do that. I either have a small or no breakfast (considering doing full on IF and just kind of adjusting to it), a smallish lunch, then a huge dinner. I do it mostly because the most common reason for me to go over my calories is eating a large supper or something after supper. I have found whether or not I've had a large…

I totally thought she could see me, and I was so mad when she never picked me! I would jump up and down and wave my arms and hope she would say she saw Christa!

Hahaha, I love this!

I don't know about the other symptoms, but the lightheaded when standing (and if you see spots or everything fades to black or you faint or even seizure) sounds to me like postural hypotension (I have it). Best advice there is to drink plenty of fluids, if you have regular low blood pressure like me, my doctor told me to…

I am so sorry :( That is so so hard.

A Sheltie and poodle mix (2 years old), and a miniature poodle (8 months). See my ticker!

I'm sorry this isn't helpful, but I never had a name for my "double jointed" ness before now, I didn't realise I was hypermobile in many of my joints. I am a bit scared that it says I'm more prone to osteoarthritis because of this though! haha.

I have been trying to think of something I really love about my body for a bit now, and I don't know that there is anything :( That is sad. But I'm working on loving my body, and so I'll list some things I like about it at least a bit. I used to hate that I looked like my mom's side of the family (My dad's side is full of…

I hate much of what has already been posted but my least favourite are: 1) People who leave empty coffee cups around the store. (Here in Canada it is often Tim Horton's cups, but all the brands are represented) 2) Cashiers that won't talk to you and look like they loathe every second they need to interact with you. At…

Bahahaha. YES!

A "baked" (microwaved) sweet potato with skin on with tzatziki and hot salsa on top. It is my current obsession.

I found this interesting, and not as an excuse to be/stay fat. Thank you for sharing.

I think I may love you. Hahahaha.

I only do this detox at Halloween. I would suggest you try reese's hot chocolate for this time of year.
