I don't know that I have actually "given up" on anything, but I eat eggs and cheese pretty regularly and just work them in as protein/fat sources. I'm not sure I could give up pasta either.

I can't imagine why anyone would like whole milk! haha. I drink skim or 1% and I always have, I find whole milk really heavy and kind of icky. To each their own!

I am 5'6.5", and I am heavy right now (218ish), but in the past I went from 260lbs to 148lbs, the pics of me of my heaviest and my (almost) my lowest are in my pictures on my profile. I'm wearing a turquoise shirt at 260lbs, and a black tank at 150lbs. Sorry about my hair! These weren't really show everyone photos when I…

I'm A+ too (Yay for donor compatibility!), and I don't fit the description pretty much at all. Also, if you compare that it says type A should have little meat, and lots of veggies and carbs, and then my body shape and family history of diabetes and metabolic issues suggest little carbs, higher protein.. well, it just…

I am not a true apple, I'm very apple like when I get very heavy (though I still have a big butt, big thighs and huge calves, my stomach is just predominant), but as I get smaller I get more hourglass shape like the rest of my family. These pictures are old, they are from the first time I lost weight: The first pic I am…

What?! I make poutine! It isn't exactly diet friendly though (eh!)

That is fantastic! Great job losing the weight. A new battle to keep it off is just beginning, and I wish you well in making this a permanent life change.

I lose from face, neck, collarbones, wrists first, then boobs and thighs, last to go is my belly, back fat and calves. My calves are huge no matter what size I am though, my sister is very fit and has huge calves as well.

Count me in!

Yeah, at my weight it seems 3 hours of heavy cleaning is 896 calories burned, which is more reasonable than the 2062 it says I burned for moving boxes!
-
Also, i forgot to ask, could the calorie burn be so high for me because I'm set on sedentary and I'm a lot heavier than you maybe? Do they adjust burn for weight?
-
If you look up moving, there is moving furniture which was 1793 for 3 hours and Moving boxes was 2092 for 3 hours. It is over 2600 for moving boxes upstairs! But obviously I was not only moving boxes upstairs for 3 hours. In any case, I think that your idea with using heavy cleaning :)

That is a GREAT idea. I do that with watching Boy Meets World (only allow myself to watch while working out), but I think a suspenseful book would work even better for me. Thank you!

While I don't actually dread working out next (anymore, I used to, but now that I'm seeing major fitness improvement I get excited by it), I often hate almost every minute of the actual exercise. I have said "I can't do this" but I always force myself to say "NO! I CAN do this!" each time that happens. I always want to…

:D Thanks for cracking me up!

Bahahaha. I love this.

YES! I tried to explain this to people when I lost weight the first time, and people said it was in my head, but it is NOT. People started being nicer to me, talking to me more, holding doors for me, etc.

When I lost weight the first time, I lost shoe sizes and ring sizes like others mentioned. I also found out I had a tail. Ok, I didn't really have a real tail, but my fat had been covering up the fact that I had lump on my tailbone, turns out I had broken it at some point (I am pretty sure it was from falling down 5 ice…

This is totally sweet, but my body doesn't work this way. I went on vacation for a week, did well on several days, bad on others and gained EIGHT POUNDS. That was at the beginning of August, and I'm still 2lbs up from that. Yeah. That's how my body works.
-
Every day. If you do this long term, you get to know your body really well, you know what days of the week you tend to be bloated and when you will lose the water weight and what eating/drinking choices do to your body. I know if I drink more than one or two drinks, I will balloon in weight two days later when I'm holding…

Bahaha. I am really crabby this morning and this made me smile :D

whoops, I don't know how to quote apparently.

While I agree that it can be a terrible way to eat health wise, I am proof you can lose weight eating whatever as long as it is in your limit. I lost 112lbs eating 1200 cal a day for a year and some of those days were very little food and lots of alcohol on party days, some of them were nothing but rice cakes, some had…

I want in too!
