Wow, you sound like someone with nothing whatsoever to add to this discussion.

Anti-depressants are not habit-forming. The only prescription drugs that can be habit forming are stimulants (e.g., Adderall), tranquilizers (e.g., Xanax), and opioid painkillers (e.g., OxyContin), because they work fast. Anti-depressant medications take a couple of weeks of regular administration to build up to a useful…

There are a few petitions going around asking the state of Arizona to investigate Amy's Baking Company and/or have Amy committed.

Look up "body-weight exercise routine." There are literally dozens being passed around Pinterest, tumblr, and fitness forums.

My local CVS has a display of the Dove Bliss chocolate squares on the endcap of the tampon aisle.

Of course pizza isn't a bad food, Congress declared it a vegetable. How could a vegetable be bad for you?

If you didn't make yourself throw it up, then give yourself the day off of calorie-counting, because you are ill. Don't worry about calories, listen to your body. Eat when and what you feel you can. You need the fuel to help your body fight whatever's got you sick. When you're feeling well and keeping food down again, go…

I have a couple of "power songs" that I put in my running playlist alongside other upbeat songs I like (working out is more fun when you're also rocking out!). It's like playing running roulette. - Survivor - Eye of the Tiger, but then again, if this song doesn't make you want to run, it's only because you're dead. -…

I gained ten pounds over Christmas break and have spent the past four months trying to get it back off again. It's OK. Do what you gotta do to make peace with whatever's triggering your emotional eating, and make a renewed commitment to getting healthy.

I got an Aeropress and a grinder, and started making coffee that I didn't need to put cream in. Basically, your options are to wean yourself off the cream and learn to like black coffee, or just fit the calories from the cream into your daily budget.

I have PCOS. I don't do anything special because of it, although I've been told I'd have an easier time of it if I gave up or at least severely restricted carbs. I might try that, but honestly I've managed OK so far without doing so.

I had a girl I knew but hadn't talked to in a while come up to me before my graduation this past weekend and tell me that I was an inspiration to her. She saw me out for a run at the beginning of last semester, and that inspired her to start running. And I ran into a guy I went to high school with at a party a couple weeks…

Calories ARE energy - you don't want low-cal here. Peanut butter, protein bars, nuts and dried fruits, jerky - all highly portable.

There's no reason your husband can't do the 30DS.

My solution is to eat.

I try to get plenty of veggies, lots of lean meat and more complex than simple/refined carbs. Alcohol is kind of a complicating factor, because I really like beer, but whatever. Going over one day every couple of weeks isn't going to undo my progress. The hardest thing for me has been remembering that I'm 5'2" and female.…

Fruit is good for you. If you don't have celiac or a gluten sensitivity, gluten is not bad for you. Reduce consumption if you want, but all you're basically doing is cutting calories.

I did Color Me Rad in February of this year. It was tons of fun! I highly recommend running with a buddy or a group, though. I did it alone, and I enjoyed myself and met some nice pace buddies along the way, but I would've had more fun if I had brought along some friends, I think. If by "rest stops" you mean along the…

Go see a doctor. The Internet is not qualified to give you medical advice.

I've done CMR. I liked it :) It's a fun run, no prizes or anything, just the joy of the experience of getting covered in corn starch and food dye. I do recommend enlisting a friend, though; it's a lot more fun when you have a buddy.

A quick Google search for "panda express nutrition" brings up this handy and colorful PDF: http://www.pandaexpress.com/files/Nutrition.pdf The healthier items are marked with a little green circle icon. It lists the serving size right there in the second column, in ounces. I don't know how much they give you in a single…

Exercise is my stress-buster, but it sounds like you could benefit from some counseling. I'm not saying you should go walk into the nearest AA meeting, don't get me wrong. But "a drink or three" to unwind because "the kids are crazy" really doesn't sound like a healthy way to deal with life, and if it's not a problem yet,…

Here's a few options for you: 1. Get off the meal plan entirely, buy and cook your own food. You can do a lot with a rice cooker/steamer - it can basically double as a crock pot, and you're probably allowed to have it in your dorm room. If you're not allowed to have a rice cooker, don't be a problem resident (thus giving…

If you eat at a deficit, you will lose weight, end of story. How you'll feel, and whether you'll be healthy, depends on what you eat. If you eat 1500 calories a day consisting entirely of Cheetos, you'll lose weight, but you'll feel like *kitten* and you'll lose muscle as well as fat. 1500 calories of vegetables, lean…

The treadmill is pushing your feet back for you; you don't have to overcome inertia like you do with outdoor/track running, which can affect your form. Setting it at an incline helps some, but at the core of it, they're not the same thing. That said, treadmill running is a fine way to keep up your running ability until it…

I suggest weaning yourself off of cream-based salad dressings if you're worried about calories. Balsamic vinegar (even just by itself, without olive oil) is perfectly serviceable for me. Ten measly calories for a whole tablespoon, which is more than enough for a reasonably-sized salad.

I've recently developed a taste for black coffee; before that, I couldn't stand it without plenty of sugar and creamer. Coffee-flavored sugar milk, if you will. Now that I have an Aeropress, I've become more accustomed to black coffee, and will only doctor it up if it's truly awful or if I've gone too long without eating.…
