So my weekend was pretty much a bust as far as my goals go. I've managed to stick to "no sweets" and "no sodas" although even that was a struggle. I was craving crap so bad. I could not make myself go out in the heat this weekend to workout though. I have no choice but to make sure to hit my steps today and tomorrow or…

I'm still not used to checking it! :'(

@Katmary71 I thought I was the only one who dealt with crap like that! It really does make it tough when you're trying so hard and thinking you're doing so well. Unfortunately, I do have a bad case of body dysmorphia. I don't know if it's something that ever goes away or not. Even at my smallest (195ish) I still was…

@raleighgirl09 My trainer has suggested a goal weight of 170...but even that I'm not sure is realistic. It's really hard to know. I like the way you think. You'll know when you get there. I think if I can get back to ONEderland and then see how I feel...then I can start chipping away at the numbers. Part of a struggle I…

@gwamajtw91 Yes!!! It's still down!!!

@slunburg Do you log all of your exercise? Do you eat back all of your exercise calories? Or just when you want that something sweet? I have resumed weighing and measuring my food, which I did religiously for almost 2 years. (I have a food scale at home and at work.) I don't count calories, but I count my macros. I'm not…

@Elliewebber Good luck to you as well! Depression is hell on the body for sure!!!
-
@slunburg Making it a lifestyle change and keeping the change going is key! I've done this multiple times (sadly) and have kept the change up for an extended period of time...and then life gets in the way and I blow it. Having the support to keep it going is important. Diets are definitely only temporary and a lot of them…

Hi y'all! I'm Gretchen. I'm 5'8" and 291.0 pounds. I've lost over 100 pounds twice now and put it back on both times. I'm really hoping to lose it once and for all. I can't live like this any more!

I could always use more encouragement! Feel free to add me!!! :)

Wednesday weigh-in (just posting it on Thursday) PW (7/1/2020): 298.0 Weigh-in (7/8/2020): 288.8 Weigh-in (7/15/2020): 291.0 Weigh-in (7/22/2020): Weigh-in (7/29/2020): Weigh-in (8/1/2020): LTD: 7.0 I'm disappointed in myself for letting goals slip a little this week. I had way too many days where there were excuses that…

@raleighgirl09 Thank you so much! I think a humongous struggle for me is setting the goal and knowing what's realistic. I mean, I set my small goals...that part I can do. However, setting the "ultimate" goal weight is tough for me. You can't really go by BMI charts (even my doctors tell me they're *kitten*) and I've never…

Great job everyone! Amazing numbers!!!
-
@AustinRuadhain That's interesting because it never loaded! LOL At least it's working for someone. I'll try again later! Thank you!

FITROCKR (did I spell that right???) - Is anyone else having problems with it? Mine has been just spinning all day. I've tried to log in more than once to make sure it was syncing and I'm getting nothing worthwhile!
-
@raleighgirl09 Thanks! I try to make sure that I focus on my macros daily. I'm just now getting back on track with them so they're a little trickier...but I'm working on them. If I'm over on one of my macros...I definitely make sure I'm under on calorie total for the day! Thanks!!! :-)
-
I've never ever hit my goal...I get "near" it and then gain it all back. I've done this twice now.
-
@TeresaW1020 I do know how week 2 goes...so I'm trying to be prepared. I'm also trying to not give myself a "pass" to eat whatever I want knowing that it won't be a big loss...if that makes sense. Good luck with your IF today...and your housework! I'm glad you were able to be there for your friend!!!
-
So, my weekend was quite sedentary...as a lot of weekends are. I did not hit my step goal either day. My food was not bad, which I'm happy with...and which will help me...but...I'm still nervous about weighing in on Wednesday. This will only be my second weigh-in with my new goals. I've done quite well with them...although…

What is the Green Challenge???

Weekends are absolutely the hardest...and it's a mental game for sure! Maybe meal planning for the weekend with him? Even if y'all discuss ahead of time where you're going to eat so you can look at the menu and plan ahead of time with your calories (or whatever you track). All in all it doesn't sound like you did really…

I think mine finally synced. If FitRockr ever becomes an issue, I am more than happy to man a spreadsheet and keep track of it to keep us going. I am a spreadsheet junkie!!!
-
I just started this process (yet again) on July 1st at 298.0 pounds. I've done this before. I can do it again. I'm not looking forward to it...but...could use some quality friends! :)
-
I've done the same. I've logged into the desktop versions of both...as well as the app versions of both. I was hoping something would click...and it hasn't.

@trooworld My son will be 24 next week and my daughter is 11. I'm glad hubby recognized that you put the tapestry up. And I promise not to call you anything other than Chris. LOL I have issues with energy levels and I eat plenty of meat. I do lots of water but I'm not that good at remembering to take my vitamins. I'm…
-
It's definitely still not working...I'm only showing 52 steps. I SWEAR I've walked more than that. :D
-
@trooworld Thank you! I need my children to see a healthy and responsible mom who takes care of herself. That's the best way to get them to take care of themselves. It sounds like you had a great day yesterday! I'm proud of you for taking matters into your own hands. Waiting on him any longer probably wouldn't have made…

@TeresaW1020 Thank you! I'm hoping that this start will really keep me motivated! @KatMary71 Thank you so much! Good morning everyone and Happy Thursday! I'm exhausted this morning! I missed my workout yesterday and that's ok. I was so hungry when I got home from work that if I didn't eat I was going to pass out. Then I…
-
@MommaGemz Thanks! Week 1 is always the best, right? I expect Week 2 to be more realistic. LOL I'm glad you're loving the new bike! I've never been much of a bike person. My behind just isn't made for it. LOL I am definitely a slave to the treadmill. I have a love/hate relationship with the stairmaster as well! ;)
