1. I've lived in more places than I have fingers (all in Canada however). Hoping to someday make it overseas to live. 2. My husband gave me the best honeymoon ever - a trip to Ireland that I'll never forget! I can't wait to go back! 3. My family tree shows me to be related to both Jackie O. and Jean LaFitte (the pirate!)…

Ah nice! Don't know about you but most days I feel like I married my Prince Charming

Met a nice guy (through a relative) who lived in another province, dated long distance for a year. One day he talked to me about moving to be with him... so I left my friends and family in Edmonton, a very good Government job and a sweet little condo that was all my own (no sharing the remote control! hehe) to be with him.…

I'm 5'7" and my goal is 145 to 155. I look kind of sickly any thinner than that. Really, for me it's not just about the numbers on the scale but how my clothes fit and how healthy I feel, and if that means I look and feel fierce but weigh 160, so be it. I started at 207.4 and currently weigh 202.8 so I still have a while…

Aww, don't give up! It's always going to be a journey with ups and downs, I know it's hard when the scale goes "the wrong way"! Have a look back over the past week at your food diary, did you eat/drink anything with a lot of sodium? Might be water weight... also maybe once a week is not enough exercise for you? There are…

I think your rose wine is probably the safest bet. Zinfandel's have the lowest cals of all the wines (about 80 per 4 oz. glass). Mixed drinks (eg: rum and diet coke) will run you about the same, as long as the bartender actually gives you "diet" coke (sometimes they don't pay attention and you get full on coke! It's…

My husband, who's joined MFP along with me, drank diet Pepsi and on occasion he would drink Coke Zero, usually two cans per day. Since starting 10 days ago, he's maybe had 2 cans total, as a treat. He finds it almost sweet now, a little too much. Once you give up something you used to have on a daily basis your taste buds…

You're lucky to have a free gym to use... so use it! The thing with weight loss is that there is no simple fix, which is what everyone looks for, it's human nature. It took us (insert time frame here) to gain the weight, it's going to take time to lose it effectively as well. In order to lose weight the healthy…

I'm the same way... it holds me accountable for what I'm eating, and maybe my healthy choices will inspire someone else to eat better! I like seeing what others are eating, gives me ideas to try new things

Wow, you look (and probably feel) fantastic! Absolutely inspiring, thanks for posting! :flowerforyou:

I'm exactly the same way! I tried alternatives to my normal morning brew but I found I wasn't enjoying it - life's too short to drink bad coffee :drinker: Just factor it in your daily caloric routine and enjoy it!

A cup of water is 250 ml so if you're drinking a big bottle, figure out how many "cups" are in it by measuring how much your bottle holds. Mine holds 3 cups and I drink 3 to 4 of those bottles daily. Hope that helps!
