You guys are so awesome! Great job!!! @JamieD328 - I have trouble losing actual pounds, too! My body likes to ADD, so I'm working with it and ADDING muscle and consequently losing a lot of fat. 2 lbs for 4 weeks of work, but almost a full size difference. (I also need to regulate my eating. Weekends tend to go unlogged).

I should do Zatana- my legs are the only part of my body that happily cooperates with wight-loss. Hmmmm.....

Still adding to the original roll-call post on this thread regularly. If you don't see yourself- let me know! We want to be sure everyone gets cheered on!

Thanks @jmd543 for getting us started! I'm in California, so I should set these up Tuesday night.... but I forgot. This is definitely the official thread! :) **** For me, I'm down 0.5 lbs. again. Non-weight progress is that I am totally seeing results. I need to get out my tape measure, but I know there's shrinkage!*…

@Jg04811 You can join at any time! Obviously, the longer you're in, the more you're likely to get out of it, but we're only 1 week in, so it is far, FAR from over!

Not at all @shangates92 ! I'll send an invite your way! :)

Yes, it does. An INCH of muscle on your thigh weighs more than an INCH of fat on your thigh. This is not a pound of feathers/pound of stones question. Calm down. To Nicole: If your waist has shrunk and you're seeing more muscles, that's more important than a few pounds on the scale. Like the first person said, you'll get…

That sounds like a good plan! My post will look something like this* Previously Lost: 0.5 lbs * Lost this week: x lbs * Total Lost: x lbs Sorry for closing it, but having a deadline improves motivation (according to me, an expert on none of this but still somehow group leader).

mandy- rule 1 of weighing yourself is Thou Shalt Not Weigh-In After Breakfast. (Ok, technically it's not a rule, and maybe it skews the results a teensy bit, but I've always found weighing yourself in the afternoon to be an unnecessarily depressing decision). I'm not sure where you're at right now, but 155 sounds like a…

Week 1 progress is now closed. Week 2 will open on Wednesday.

Good work c&w!

Hey guys! Great goals! I do feel obligated to note that as of today, the 2-lb-per-week safety limit is a goal loss of 26 lbs by Halloween. Not telling you what CAN be done, or what you SHOULD do, just a quick reminder. You guys are awesome! (Obviously those who are severely overweight or are under the guidance of a doctor…

Dude, suckered nothing, that's just epic. My husband and I have been Trillian and Arthur from Hitchhiker's Guide, the Joker and Harley Quinn, the Devil and the Devil's Advocate, Wolverine and Emma Frost (part of a group costume) and Countess and Count von Dracula. And probably a few others that I've forgotten- a lot of…

Yay! Welcome c&w!

You're on a roller derby team?! That's so cool. Also.. Snow White the Vampyr Slayer could be epic. Just sayin'.
-
Not if you start on the details now and add them onto the base closer to the date.
-
That's super cool, frichris!

Have created a GROUP to better track this. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/107690-halloween-challenge-2015

Probably ought to... give me a minute. :)
-
Sure, ok. (I'm the one in the middle here)
-
Ok, cool! That's just fine, mandy. Do what works for you. What do you think you want to dress up as?
-
Yay! Welcome!
-
Ok, cool, that makes 5 of us! I think we should all check in on Wednesdays to track where we're at.
-
Yay! So... we'll all check in weekly? :)

I'm just going to leave this here...

Spaghetti squash in place of pasta under bolognese sauce. So, SO bad.
