Posted my weight in week 10, but I just wanted to say "Thank you" for doing these. I suspect if it weren't for these, I wouldn't be as far along as I am now. SO excited for round 2!! :drinker::flowerforyou: :drinker:

Not really thoughts/theories, but the following has kicked me in the teeth once or twice: *I have always had a hard time with being able to AFFORD the healthy food. I still can't afford the REALLY good stuff, but I've learned to look for the "decent" stuff and roll with it. *My butt and I will have to agree to disagree.…

Bump. I'm curious on the answers as well.

Numbers coming Monday since you said it's not too late to join. :drinker:

Wow. You guys have some really great ideas! Thank you for all the suggestions. I might have to try one or two (Special thanks to the cookie lady. I was considering the idea myself, but I just don't know how well it will go over). Talking with them could turn into a bit of a problem. The gentleman pretends not to understand…

Applebee's ~~~ While their calories are low, their sodium content is through the ROOF!!!

Pre-made snacks from home are best, but...... If you HAVE to eat out some place like McD's or BK, opt for the 4 piece nugget kids meal with Apple fries and milk (Chocolate or plain is fine). Very filling and gentle on the calories. Also, Sandwich Shops are a good option if you load up on the veggies and skimp on the…

Right now I just use the machines (My gym partner is not available to assist, but soon as they come back I'm dragging their lazy tush back to the free weights area). Here's the machine workout I did this morning: lowest is 12 reps/ highest is 20 & 2 sets of each (also, what the weight was when I started lifting) Leg…

In my house we call this "Good for Hugging" No one wants to hug a stick!

Yay for going to the Dr. Let us know what it turns out to be?

I stalled for 3 weeks. Turned out it was a problem in my food diary. Too much Sodium and I wasn't tracking it. So I changed that. I also adjusted my fitness level and the loss per week goals. It's set at -2 now and I'm averaging about 1lb per week, which is fine, cause slow and steady wins the race, right? I've also…

I didn't post weight last week so we can "start" me at this weeks weight of 164.2 right? (and though I didn't post it, that down a pound from last week:wink: )

This! Only... I'm a girl.

Not a clue. Very interested to see some answers though, cause I've got the same problem. I'm ALWAYS freezing.

Which are you doing first? I'd try switching. If you do cardio first, start with weights. If you do weights, try starting with cardio. You might be "stuck" and need to shake things up. Also, It's been thrown around that 30 minutes or more of cardio is helpful.... but don't ask me. I mostly do weights and a few days a week…

I prefer Fage 2%. I use if for a snack.... With fruit or a tsp of Honey. I use it for cooking... It make delicious sour cream, mayo, also I found a recipe to use it in an "alfredo" sauce! I Originally started using Greek to make sure my family gets the right amount of protein and less sugar than the "flavored" stuff. Now,…

I have the pleasure this week of NOT having my crowd of midgets (<--term of endearment for my crazy children) underfoot, so just for this week it's FULL hour EACH of Weights & Cardio. Did my "Beginning of the month measurements" this morning, so going to check again at the end of the week, just to SEE if this double up…

You GO!:drinker:

*Crowd Clapping, Cheering, & Feet Stomping* GREAT job! Keep it up!

Those are ALWAYS the best pranks!

Exactly. And thank you.

And this is exactly why I should not make a post, post dinner/pre-bed. Clarification: She swears she is a vegetarian, but she WILL eat tuna & chicken on occasion. She also eats eggs. Daily. I've only known a couple of Vegetarians in my whole life (I worked with one and she took me to her house, showed me her garden, what…

Sorry. MY kids. She doesn't have any. Just a bunch of nieces and nephews. I bought her a book (I asked the lady at Barnes & Noble for the most complete one) last year for Christmas. It's still in the plastic I wrapped it in to keep the rain off on her closet floor. I probably over stepped on that one :ohwell:
-
She's been on this "diet" for the last 4 years. I'm hoping she comes around with her next Dr. visit, but not holding my breath. I've tried bring prepared foods as well as buying fresh foods and making them in her kitchen (she lives 6 hours away, so making things at her house is an easier option). Thank you for the tip on…

I think they call them trolls? And yes. Horribly annoyed.

I don't know what it is in YOUR knee, but I know when mine started doing that I went to the Dr. complaining (because it actually DID hurt some days. Not a lot, just uncomfortable) I was told I had everything from weight related pressures to arthritis. Then I stomped my foot and went to a specialist. Turns out there was a…

Well, I have learned that at home workouts are WAY too easy for me to skip out on, so those are going to collect dust for a few and it's back to work at the gym. Last month it was one consecutive hour at the gym mixing Cardio (Elliptical, rowing, stairs, walk the track, etc.) Since my son is finally old enough to be…

No more Pizza (I can see from last nights binge this is definitely my current kryptonite). No going back for seconds (1 serving is 1 serving not 2 or more silly!), Log EVERYTHING (The nibbles, bites & tastes always get me). Now, can someone yell at me please if you see me break this? Cause by tomorrow I will forget what I…

Plateaus. They are stomping me into the mud :grumble: Every 3-4 weeks everything comes to a screeching halt. And STAYS that way for another 2 weeks or so. The first time, I went and changed diary setting and found out Salt was the bad guy. Then it was the activity level settings. Now? I just don't know. I up water. Change…
