Yes, it's because you are developing muscle. They weigh the same but the muscle is sleek and far is not. Congratulations! Keep track of your measurements as well as your weight.

My tummy feels tighter and I took back a notch on my belt! Added bonus, the pain in my hip and groin during certain movements has lessened considerably since I started running.

I'm on round 2 of week 1 and I love the couch 2 5k program as it's really doable. Make sure you do a nice 5 min warm up and then do intervals of walking and jogging do some good stretching after and make sure you do your cool down. Stay hydrated while you are working out.

I spent a lifetime hearing that and now at 51 started putting on a little weight (about 10 lbs) and they're all you're getting kinda chubby aren't you? Well wait till they see me nice and toned this summer! Heh heh.

I still prefer my glass of whole milk for creal and with my p&j sandwich and cheeses for snacking and in my salads, I also use real butter and my cholesterol is usually under and my docs are happy w ith my levels. I just use it all in moderation.

Went to the beach yesterday to do week 1 day 1, I fell 2 intervals short of the 8 and a little stiff and sore today. I can't wait to try again tomorrow. In the meantime I took a leisurely 45 min walk on the beach today and was rewarded with some beauyiful sea glass.
