Usually when I am wrong, I want people to tell me I am wrong. So I can stop being wrong.

Yes to those who said something that works different muscle groups. I prefer strength training to more cardio. Runners often have week glutes, so I work on those (by doing light weight squats, hip thrusters, glute bridges, and lunges), as well as planks, pushups and other core work.

Actively training (tapering) for the Comrades Marathon June 1st. After that, I'll swing into normal fall marathon mode, which some trail ultra-prep mixed in.

In for inadvertent trolling. Because you can totally do that.

If you run everyday, its worth getting a fitting. Heel pain could be any number of things, from running surface to overuse. The main concern is having a injury that just keeps getting worse. I've seen a number of people run in cheap shoes and ignore pain, which landed them on the sidelines for months or years with PF or IT…

How much do you run? Are you constantly in pain and injured? Getting fitted at a running store is generally a good idea, and the right shoe will fix the majority of aches and pains, but if it ain't broke...

Yup. I understand competitive...whenever I see someone ahead of me on the path my legs get all twitchy to pass them. Just remember that there is training pace and there is race pace. You shouldn't be trying to PR every run

Real talk: Too much, too fast, too soon. It shouldn't take you 5 days to recover from a 10k. You should be able to exercise the day after. Slow your runs down. You cut over a minute per mile off your time in your first runs. No wonder your body is wrecked after. If you just slow things down, you won't have such a long…

What a total creeper. Does she even lift? On the other hand, who wouldn't try to cop an Otter rub?

I do this to mock a stereotype: The black guy behind you is big and therefore scary; you should live in constant fear, men should lift and not run, etc. These are attitudes seen daily on MFP. Sometimes, something super memorable and hilarious pops up (like mini-trampoline), and it is referenced in later threads. Of course,…

WAIT, I remember this guy! I tried to get away from him but the creep FOLLOWED ME. Honestly I didn't think he would be able to swim.

This would of course be the safest route. However as a woman, I can't really run without my uterus falling out. And I hear its not manly for dudes to run. So maybe staying in bed is the best option. Plus, TBH, going into the basement alone? What, do you have a death wish or something?

This is why you should bring a gun, a knife, and pepper spray with you to all TM events.

30 packets...wow. I'm just sayin': if you like sweet things that much, mayhaps keto is not the long-term solution you are looking for.

The real question: How many times are you going to post this topic?
