I think my favorite bit on this article is the part about eating small snacks throughout the day. I'm one of those people with ZERO self control, and I'd have to agree that I'd probably be a LOT better off if I ONLY ate when I was actually hungry.

Don't get to start my 30 day shred today after all. The weights didn't get here until just now (its 8pm here) and I really don't want to do the workout this late since I live upstairs. I don't want be jumping around on the floor when the downstairs neighbors are home. =) But, tomorrow, it begins!

Thank you to everyone for all the support. I'm so nervous! I'd LOVE to lose all 25lbs, but I'd be SO happy if I could even lose 15lbs within the 30 days!

Try it in small steps. Instead of drinking a full can, try to find and buy some of those mini cans they sell in the market now. Also, if you don't like plain water (I sure don't), add a drink flavor packet (I buy pink lemonade, mmm). Every time you want a coke, drink a full glass of water first! That's how I've been…

I'm no doctor, but when I was drinking 4-6 cans a day, I was sure as heck dehydrated.

I used to HATE drinking plain water, so I use those little powder drink packets. While they still have a few calories (5 a packet?), I know it's MUCH better than diet coke for me!

It's not good for your body. But cost is also another great reason to quit! :smile:

Believe me, i NEVER thought I'd give it up. They say it takes 3 weeks to break an addiction though. After I started pounding water every day, diet coke started tasting like syrup. :tongue:
