  • Oh I just looked it up, that looks like sooooo much fun!! I'll have to do it next year for sure!
  • Awwww :( I'm so sorry! It's never easy when you have to put down a pet. But I'm glad you notice he is in pain and it's for the best.
  • I shave just because it takes 2 secs, but waxing isn't as painful as you think and lasts longer.
  • I'm not sure exactly what it could be but for me, someone with bad knees due to arthritis, I don't do squats or lunges if I'm having a bad day so I'd avoid doing them if I were you or make sure your doing them properly. If it continues, see doc.
  • Oh yes the dreaded scale, lol. I usually weigh myself every morning because I'm addicted but only track it once a week. I also got a tape measure to measure inches lost because sometimes the scale doesn't reflect that. I weigh and measure myself every Friday and figure out BF % then too.
  • I'm at 1200 (which is right for my current weight and goal weight), make sure your eating something every 3-4 hours, drink lots of water which helps you feel fuller and pick foods that are more filling.
  • I have dramatically cut alcohol out. My bf and I use to go out every weekend and sometimes more than once. Moving to a different city has made it easier but when I started this new journey to a healthier lifestyle in April I decided that I'd drink maybe once a month if anything. I don't see the point of working my butt off…
  • I make it a priority and think of how happy it makes me feel after and how I'll feel when I reach goal weight. I literally get home from work and do not sit down, because I know if I sit down I may never go workout that day. So I immediately change into my workout clothes and go out the door! :) A good burn can take me…
  • First thing in the morning, after you pee, and completely naked. That is your true weight. I weigh myself everyday but only write it down here once a week but I also don't fret if it goes up or down a little each day because your body will fluctuate up to 5 pounds depending on water weight or what you ate (so yes, food and…

  • Hello, My name is Brittany and my boyfriend and I are planning on going to Florida and Disney World next year around March. I've been there 4 times and LOVE it! I maybe 27 but every time I go I feel 7. :) He has never been there and has never seen the ocean! So I plan on taking him to both. I'm hoping to be at my goal…
  • I'm only on week 2 but I can tell I'm getting stronger and I can run a little bit longer each day :)
  • Goal weight (for now) is 150 and then I'll re-evaluate SW: 225 CW:213
  • To not drink a lot while camping memorial weekend!!
  • I have Smart Balance All Natural Rich Roast, Creamy peanut butter. It's an excellent source of Omega-3, no hydrogenated oil, no refined sugar, 0g trans fat (read label, lol). It's 190 calories for 2 tbsp.
  • I love the couch to 5K program, check it out!! I'm not a morning person either so I work out after work around 4 or after my tv shows around 8 or 9, when ever I can fit it in. And I don't have a gym membership. Looking at success stories/pics on here is very motivating!!
  • I'm on day 3 of couch to 5K and I love it! I also agree with the above poster, just keep adding on longer intervals of running/jogging, even if it's just a minute at a time, you will get there!!
  • Just ignore her and do it for yourself and I bet when you get to your goal weight she might be whistling a different tune.
  • I'd take the time to rest and trying icing it and stretching. You wouldn't want to injury yourself anymore.
  • I started it yesterday and I thought it was killer (didn't help I was sore from the jog the night before). I'm excited to keep doing it and see what results I get. Afterwards, I did day 2 of couch to 5K and I was dripping sweat when I was done.
  • I hated the way I felt and the way I looked. Clothes were getting tighter and I didn't want to have to buy more bigger clothes. Also, my bf is thin so I didn't want to be his fat girlfriend. I use to get hit on (even with him around) and that stopped. I was just sick of being a fat, unhealthy girl. A lot of things motivate…
  • First of all, 4.2 lbs in one week is excellent (and a lot), so don't worry if you don't see anything week two because the healthy, recommended weight loss for a week is 2 lbs or less. I'm set at 1200 and I ALWAYS eat back my exercise calories or if it's my rest day I make sure I eat the full 1200. Don't go under 1200, it's…
  • I'd also recommend getting a tape measure, you could be losing inches!
  • I usually weigh in every morning after I go to the bathroom and completely naked but I only record it once a week because your body fluctuates.
  • There is a hot for Halloween group someone started!!
  • Yep I agree with a lot of answers posted. BUT just another tidbit about protein, eat a lot of it especially post workout because protein rebuilds and repairs.
  • Oh very cute!! I love giving myself rewards for reaching goals.
  • Yep add strength training, it's a great fat burner along with running.
  • If anything it may just be a sprain. When I broke my foot it swelled up immediately and there was no way in hell I was walking!! Like above post! Do RICE! U might have to take it easy and not do the 5k :(
  • leave work! 2 1/2 hours still!!!
  • I usually always go with the lower one or somewhere in the middle. I need to get a HRM!!
